PRO PT Physical Therapy

This is the second time I had to have PT. Went to PRO PT the first time a few years ago and the experience with John and his staff was so wonderful I went again for My knee, again a great experience. John gave me the best advise both times to let me know what I need to do at 66 to hopefully build my muscles to keep me healthy and standing tall in older age. He gave me five full body workouts and did each one at Pro Pt so I know what I’m doing at home. I am taking his advise seriously and doing the workouts at home and my knee well of course so much better. Doing something so personal like PT I could not imagine feeling more comfortable and getting the healing and advise like this from anybody else. Thank you John and staff.

I was a patient of John Santos of Pro PT for over 18 yrs. I first saw John for a frozen shoulder, followed by a broken ankle, hip replacement and toe surgery, including many PT visits throughout the years for back pain etc. John is very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate treating everyone from children, athletes and the elderly. I moved out of CA, so unfortunately, I will no longer be able to turn to John for his help. John, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you and your staff for all that you have done for me. This business is in Trabuco Hills Medical Center, located in the Trabuco Hills Center. I came here because I had back problems and ended up getting back surgery. The doctor recommended some physical therapy to improve healing. They have lots of different kinds of equipment to work out on and someone to help you. I believe this was very beneficial to my fast recovery. I enjoyed my time there and the people were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend PRO PT to anyone wanting physical therapy.

This place is great. Physical therapy works wonders if you go somewhere where the people are knowledgeable and passionate. I had been tolerating wrist pain for over a year - after going here infrequently over the past couple of months, the pain is nearly gone. This place is comfortable and enjoyable to be in - everybody is very friendly. The owner used to be a competitive athlete so he has all kinds of cool tidbits for anyone who is interested. HIGHLY recommend this place and highly recommend physical therapy for any pain that you have... don't wait until it gets worse...

This family owned practice is fantastic. Not only are they knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, they absolutely care. Every single person working there, from the front office to the therapists are respectful, thoughtful, and kind. They also attract a delightful crew of patients, who's ages and abilities vary, are friendly, and make it comfortable to be there. Pro PT was recommended by two friends and I am forever grateful.

Grateful for John and his caring staff. The one star bad reviews are way off the reality. (One of them is contradictory) The entire staff has been kind to both my son and I as we rehab our injuries. They have been accommodating with scheduling us both and pushed us hard to improve without fitting the “torture” that some PT’s pride themselves with… as well as advising us on things we can do to continue our efforts outside the office. If you like to support local family business that are A++ like we do… Pro PT is your place!

Before receiving physical therapy at Pro PT, I had been dealing with chronic pain and discomfort due to a permanent injury that was becoming a harsh burden to live with after over 2 years, along with my complete inability to sleep. This injury forced me to retire from the military and stop participating in hobbies I had previously enjoyed. After receiving treatment here, my pain was lessened, sleep was improved, and my life finally started to lift off of the rock bottom I found myself in. This led to my decision of actually pursuing a career in physical therapy. John Santos went so far as to give me a job as an aide, which helped me to understand the many difficulties of being a physical therapist and running your own business simultaneously. I eventually realized that the toll on my body was too much to bear personally, and I would need to find another way to help people. Physical therapy with John was not an easy path and took a few tough weeks to truly notice the results, but determination, along with John's knowledge, encouragement, and willingness to do anything in his power to help brought me to be in the best physical and mental shape of my entire life. Remarkably, I was even able to start rock climbing, which is something I had previously thought impossible with injuries like winging scapula and a long thoracic nerve palsy. John is not only the most talented, experienced, and intelligent physical therapist I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of (I am close to being on physical therapist number 10), but he is also one of the most caring individuals I have ever known. It took me 4 previous therapists that failed to help, before I was able to find John and his team of kind and brilliant employees and associates, including James who was required to move on for personal reasons. I would still be coming here years later, if not for a lack of time, resources, and change in location. If you want the best possible treatment and care, or maybe a new outlook on life, you need to find a way to get seen at Pro PT. *Nobody asked me to write this review. I have been receiving poor care recently and was reminiscing about what I used to have before.

I'm a 70 yo male rehabing with PRO PT from spine fusion surgery last Sept. John Santos guided me for months PRIOR to surgery through the gamut of therapies and was EAGER to share his experience and expertise regarding my arthritis. I learned quickly to listen and trust his advice and ultimately chose the surgeon he suggested. And surgery was a huge success. The PRO PT staff is very professional and committed. The facility is well equipped and comfortable but most importantly they Listen and Understand.
