What can I say… they did a fabulous job working on my knee. I injured my knee getting in and out of a small car, I am used to big vehicles, back in July of 2023… Finally got an appointment with Michael Kane in September of 2023. Not only did they fix the problem, but also corrected a problem associated with PT I had on my knee back in 2013 for ACL replacement surgery. All the therapists there were great! They also did a great job for my son when he had a knee injury.

Michael and the entire team at Pro-Motion are the absolute best. They are knowledgeable, caring and responsive. From knowing how to help you navigate the challenges of working with insurance to teaching you how to best retrain and rejuvenate your body after surgery or injury, they have shown skill and compassion for me and all of my family members. There’s no one in Yakima whose health advice I trust more.

I have used Pro-Motion for 20 plus years and they are the best! Michael and his team are caring, experienced, and provide excellent physical rehabilitation care! I have had 10 Orthopedic surgeries in the past 4 years and most recently separated my pelvis and ripped my abdominal and adductor off the bone when I slipped in my garage. I started PT after 2 months in a wheelchair post-surgery. Pro-Motion got me back to the point that last week (5 months from being in the wheelchair) went elk hunting in MT and hiked 44 miles in the mountains climbing over 12,000 vertical feet. I wondered if I would ever function normally and do the things I love to do, but Michael and his team got me back better than I was, after Dr. Boone and the excellent surgeons at Proliance got me screwed back together. I highly recommend Pro-Motion Physical Therapy for your post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, or treating injuries to keep you from having surgery. They will do a great job for you like they have for myself and my family. Thanks Michael, I am very grateful for your attention and dedication in helping me recover!

I came in with a severely pinched nerve in my neck that had me stuck in my recliner trying to find comfort from the pain. After the first few sessions I found great relief and after a few weeks I'm back to my normal activities. Thanks Michael and the ProMotion team!

Sometime ago I came to Pro Motion for an episode of tenitis and the staff was great. Lisa was so helpful and friendly to us. Now we’re coming back to PT on my wife’s shoulders which she broke both. She loves the attention to her personal needs as she recovers. She comes home and does her exercises prescribed. She too loves all the staff and trainers.

i did my rehab for a full knee replacement at Pro Motion. Everyone on staff communicates extremely well, it did not matter who i worked with they knew where I started, where I was and where I needed to go and how to get there. Michael checks in on you every visit to make sure you are receiving the best of care. The office is beyond friendly and does a great job with check in, scheduling, and working with your insurance to maximize your benefits. If you want great customer service and facilities go to Pro Motion, what is more important than your health.

I setup physical therapy weeks in advance prior to my grandparents surgery and gave them all his insurance and they said they excepted all his insurance. 1 day after surgery I get a call that they don’t accept his insurance. I talk to supposedly the manager Suzy and she is a rude piece of trash. Laughing as I tell her what is he supposed to do and why did it take so long to find this out if they had already said he was good to go and confirmed his appointment days in advance. She began to argue with me that there is no way they would have accepted him. I told her the girl before was the one who told me they would accept him. I asked for someone above her and she stated no one is above her and laughed and hung up. Truly Yakima trailer trash.

After 10 years….FINALLY an answer. FINALLY a diagnosis. FINALLY getting back my function! Pro-Motion PT was worth my time, my money, and most importantly….my hope. For me, Pro-Motion PT was the final piece of a complicated puzzle to get back to my life. Pro-Motion is more than just a place your doc sends you to see if PT could help, before you try something else or just give up….more than just a requirement by your insurance to qualify for some other benefit…more than just one more line on your medical history. Pro-Motion is NOT a “HAVE-to-do”, but is a choice “you GET to make” to get back your function, to get back to your life, your way. Function matters. I have always been super-active, independent and busy, didn’t think about it, just got a lot of things done. But, when I came to Pro-Motion, I was NOT functioning well. Almost worse than the pain and weakness and changes in how I could move, was not knowing if my problem was spine, hip, leg or SI joint. I just knew I was limited like never before, and it was getting worse! I have a complex sports, injury, medical, surgical and treatment history. Over the course of TEN YEARS, many very good doctors told me what it was NOT, but the actual diagnosis varied by doctor and was elusive to a conclusive diagnosis by typical medical diagnosis alone. Over several years, I had travelled for complex specialty care and had lots of testing that ruled out all kinds of things. I am truly grateful for the good specialists I saw, but specialists could not agree on the functional problems, saw the issues through the lens of THEIR specialty, and had differing recommendations for surgery or powerful medications. Many well-intentioned attempts by good doctors actually made things WORSE. Some docs even said that nothing was physically wrong, or that it WAS something, but nothing that could be treated. Worsening function and pain became the reason to seek help ONE MORE TIME. This mess of a journey was NOT me. It was NOT my identity. It was NOT my life. But, lack of function had grown to control my life. Still, I did NOT want just another doctor appointment, another expense, another to-do in my already too-busy schedule. And, I certainly did not want an unnecessary surgery, nonessential medication, or another explanation that didn’t make sense. I was NOT seeking attention or pity or judgement. And, I did NOT want another false hope for a solution that would lead to another huge disappointment! I chose Pro-Motion Physical Therapy. I did not expect to turn back the clock and reverse my medical or injury history, but I DID want my function back. And, I was at the point that I just didn’t want to get worse! Pro-Motion’s focus on FUNCTION made the functional difference for me, when none of the really good individual medical specialists could. Pro-Motion listened to my limitations, my goals and my concerns, thoroughly evaluated, and created a working plan. I think what makes Pro-Motion different is that they KEPT listening to me and evaluating and adjusting the plan. They looked at my FUNCTION, my whole body working (or NOT working) together. My results were beyond my realistic expectation, especially given my history. I didn’t just preserve function, I actually IMPROVED function…significantly! AND…The process of working with Pro-Motion PT helped me work with my specialists and helped guide the medical professionals to the ACTUAL source of the problem! To say that I am grateful for Pro-Motion PT is a massive understatement! More than just a team of dedicated skilled talented professionals and really good people, their FOCUS on function truly made the difference in my journey back to function for daily life. Life is better, because FUNCTION MATTERS!
