SLV’s Speech Therapist Marla is the best I’ve ever seen and since I used to work in the medical field with therapists I’ve seen a lot. She kept digging, sending me for tests, talking to other providers, until they finally had a handle on what was going on with me and a game plan to help with my quality of life. I’m no longer scared when my wind pipe spasms closed, when I aspirate what I eat or drink, etc. Yes, as usual I’m a “complicated case” but she helped uncomplicate some of my problems.

This facility has gone from one hour to 45 minute appointments, because they were not making enough money for the corporation. Patient excellence anyone? Some therapists are half-way decent, and others not. In addition, their business practices always seem to include "special" charges that are not covered by insurance, making a visit to this office very expensive. I will not be going back.

After we got all of my issues with the VA Handled, these folks got me in ASAP. Fast courteous and professional. I see the occupational therapist for chronic issues from a life time of being an artist and a bare foot trimmer for horses. I have had incredible results and the ability to get back to work.
