We were told that the consultation we went to for our daughter would not result in a charge, however, we received a bill for about $400. I have disputed it with Intermountain, and they will not budge. The actual service provided was not good, and the billing is a joke. Do not go here.

We have attended this location for 6 months. The speech therapist we had here is extremely slothful. Would not recommend speech at this location. Our daughter was in an accident and has difficulty sitting for long periods or following directions because her hearing and spasms. Speech therapist here just wanted to sit and perform a treatment and be done. They don’t take the time to create therapeutic ways to encourage her to engage in treatment. Said our daughter wasn’t appropriate to progress in speech until she can maintain engagement for longer periods of time. Took her to another location and the speech therapist said that she is completely appropriate but definitely has her challenges that make speech treatments difficult but we just have to be more creative. OT was a great experience but ended up moving all services for ease of appointments. Advocate for your kids because not all therapists are made the same and this location has an inexperienced speech therapist with an attitude. Zero issues with billing. We paid and we left. Speech therapist was simply overpaid for her time.

Love love love our provider but it’s looking like we got screwed on the billing end. Hoping their billing will work with our insurance on working this mess out but based on another review, I’m bracing for a bill that is outrageous because misinformation that was provided by Intermountain. They have such wonderful providers but steer clear because billing will screw you :( I’m not going to name names but their own people know how bad their billing department is and it sounds like they are screwing a ton of people over. I can’t believe they are chasing away kids that need help in the sake of damn money…

Avoid at all costs! The treatment was good, but the billing was terrible. I was told to call and check procedural codes with my insurance before having my son start treatment (and did so). Their office also called to confirm coverage. So my understanding was that everything was fine. My son was in a day treatment facility at the time (he has multiple diagnoses) and had been referred for occupational therapy to support his recovery. Near the end of our 6 months of treatment, I received an email IN WRITING from Primary Children's Rehab stating that our insurance would only cover two more visits and after that it would be private pay after that. We finished those to visits and it was months after this that I started getting bills from IHC. They keep using an "unspecified" diagnoses code and so my insurance keeps rejecting the bills because they aren't using a specific diagnoses (despite him having several from other healthcare providers). I reached out to have the issue corrected and they sat for months without resubmitting and then resubmitted, again using an unspecified diagnoses and so it was rejected again! They have been completely unhelpful in resolving the issue and I am now left with an $8,000 bill. NOT WORTH IT. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. They have been terrible at the billing and have given false information (like I said, I received it in writing even) and are being completely unhelpful. I wish I had never gotten into this nightmare.

This place has helped my special needs son immensely. The staff is super kind and very good at the care that they provide. We have never had issues with billing, I am not sure where the people with 1 star reviews are calling, but we have always had a great experience both with the clinical and billing staff. My consumer rating A+

Don’t waste your time here! Just calling the medical records in general was a joke! The woman that answered talked to me like I was stupid, and she would go quiet if I asked any questions, as if it was inconvenient for her to do her job, and I was taking up her time because i asked a simple question. I don’t get attitude with people over the phone, but as soon as she silenced herself because I asked if I could get something emailed to me, and she responded with an irritated tone when she finally did respond, not once not twice, but THREE TIMES. that’s when I got short and snappy. You don’t get to treat people any type of way because YOU are having a bad day. Absolutely unprofessional! Answering phones, emailing stuff and answering questions is not a hard job.
