When my doc retired I was very anxious about getting a new provider. Since I was very young he and the staff have nearly always met my medical needs with care. No one is perfect. I have only had 3 unpleasant interactions in almost 2 decades, and I think that says a lot. My new provider and NP are amazing and have made the transition easy. I am thankful for every staff member I have encountered upstairs and downstairs.

I love their doctors. The ones I've seen I've been seeing my primary care. Dr wrich but thereafter hours service call line... Are rude. And seem like they're just trying to get you off the phone. I work during office hours. And they make me feel like I'm an inconvenience when I call to leave a message for my doctor. The actual doctors. And even docs on call are amazing. But the people that answer the after hours service. I'm really rude and should be replaced

Went in with my wife for bad abdominal pain. This was after leaving two messages and finally getting a call back. Wonderful customer service. Get in to see a Nurse Practitioner or PA. At no time was she asked about her pain level, how she had been dealing with the pain, how's this affecting you, nothing. Just poke and prod, then told she would be getting a CT of her abdomen. They would send over the order immediately, but they weren't sure if it would be at the Pavilion or at St. Mary's, my wife would have to call to make the appointment. After waiting 30 minutes, which she was told to do, she called to make the appointment. NO orders! After the second attempt and another 15 minutes still no orders. My wife called the office and was told the orders were sent and sent as "stat", but they were sent again just in case. Was told these orders take time to get there. Really? Are you using computers with dial-up? Another 15 minutes or more went by, called, got through, and then found out stat means nothing, but they would schedule her for as soon as they can within 24 hours and the treating PA or Practitioner was good with this! She also knew this was a possibility but we weren't informed of this. Believing the CT would be done same day, we sat outside the Pavilion but when they couldn't make the "Stat" appointment, we went home, 25 miles away. We were led to believe this CT would be done today, but no. Had to pay up front before being seen, good thing we had payment or probably wouldn't be seen. No pain management or if what she's doing for the pain is okay or possibly hurt her abdomen more. Told if the pain gets worse, come to the ER and they'll do the CT! Mo Money, Mo Money, Mo Money or how about "Show me the money"? I have nothing but contempt for the decline of our medical professionals. You definitely "practice" medicine and you seem very lackadaisical in practicing. I guess you all can't be Dr. Q, but it would be nice if you at least strived to be like him.

Issue is not with PCP. They are great. Patient portal just does not work very well. One of my main gripes is there is not a link to provide feedback. I can view my lab results in chronological order but when I print the recosr, the dates arre no longer in order. The Charts app is nice but you cannot change the duration of the timeline.

I’m leaving this review because I’m not sure where to go from here. I love my Dr at PCP. She’s been our doc for over 20 years. The reason I’m leaving this review is because I was just seen for a strep test at Docs on Call. The PA I had came in, was pretty blunt which is ok, however when I asked her for liquid instead of pills and felt the need to tell her the reason is because I have a hard time swallowing pills she VERBATIM said “I…I don’t care…you could have just told me you wanted liquid.” I was so shocked. I have NEVER experienced that before in my life. “care” is literally in the name of the practice and she straight up told me she didn’t care. I will be sure to specifically ask to never see her again. I couldn’t believe it.

For many years I have had the hardest time with their billing practices. They trickle in at random, often months after the visit, with a finanace charge attached. Then I'll receive a call from the collection agency for a another $30 or so that I have no knowledge of what so ever. Just send me the WHOLE bill and I will take care of it all at once. After reading the reviews, I am glad to see I'm not the only one with issues. They make me feel like I'm crazy when I call trying to figure out what's going on with my account.

BEWARE of billing practices I've seen Dr. Chamberlin at their Wellington Avenue location for over nine years. While I adore her as a doctor and have found the other doctors to be good, I feel compelled to warn all about the office's inappropriate billing practices. This year I noticed a new billing code called G2211. This was tacked on top of my normal office visit with my primary care physician. The code states it is for “Visit complexity inherent to evaluation and management associated with medical care services that serve as the continuing focal point for all needed health care services.” Is that not what you expect from your Primary Care Doctor? This was a very simple visit, and I was with my doctor for less than 10 minutes. My insurance company (United Healthcare) denied the G2211 code and said it is not covered by my plan. Mind you, the practice assured me they are in-network and accept my insurance. I have a $0 copay for Primary Care, and I’d even met my out-of-pocket max for the entire year, yet I have an outstanding balance for this charge that seems inappropriate. I’ve also paid this code out of pocket at least once before earlier in the year without realizing it. After reviewing the recent EOB, I contacted the office. Over the past six weeks, it’s been no less than four phone calls still without a resolution. This includes leaving a voicemail for the Office Manager Margie, as well as speaking directly to the Billing Manager Tiffany. If a Billing Department Manager is not even authorized to remove an inappropriate $27 charge for a loyal patient, this tells me there are systemic management issues. Despite loving my doctor, I cannot in good faith remain with a practice that operates this way. I will be looking elsewhere and encourage everyone to consider what type of office you want to provide your business to. UPDATE - Despite repeated phone calls and voicemails for over a month, I got no resolution. However, a day after posting an online review, I was notified that the charge was waived. Two days later, I received a certified letter stating they will no longer provide me with medical care because the physicians feel they are unable to meet my expectations. All I expected was not to have inappropriate charges and to resolve the issue when contacting billing. Thankfully, I already have an appointment with a new primary care doctor elsewhere. I encourage everyone who uses any of their affiliated practices to review their EOB closely.

The concept of this practice is nationally recognized as truly "Patient-First" focused. You can do no better. It has lived up to that aspiration for 18 years for me. It is one stop "shopping" for all my Primary Care needs in one building and in all that time, Dr. Sturgis has given me the time, the respect and the skill to discover the source of my concerns. He has recommended & delivered excellent treatments in all these years. Thank you Dr. Shenkal for recommending this Practice to me and Dr. Sturgis in particular. You should both be proud.
