Premier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

I don't know why there are less than 5 star reviews on here! It must be disgruntled ex-employees have left negative reviews. I have found that they provide good care, and the activities dept goes above and beyond! Amy, the director of nursing, is still there and is wonderful to my loved one. The facility could use some updating, but the love shown by the staff outshines any flaws of the building.

Just wanted to share a comment about my mom she has been at premier for a couple of weeks now and I just wanted to share about Molly she is so good with mom and I noticed her taking care of others she works hard does great also my mother is really being taken care of. My mom was at another place which looked like a fancy hotel. But the care is not good. Premier has impressed me. My mother stays clean they bring by snacks all I can say is I’m happy my mother is here now. UPDATE mom has since passed away. When she arrived at premier she was in bad shape from the previous care she received. The place I mentioned before. I want to thank staff at Premier my mom was taken really good care of. I think if she had been there earlier her life would have been better. I am thankful for her being local so that we were able to really see her care and to be able to have that time with her anyone who is looking for care for their loved ones IMPORTANT keep them local so you can make sure of their care. I have great faith in The Lord Jesus and I know mom is in heaven now.

Premier has been in the news as of September of 2024 for filthy conditions per a staff member who reported them. I see Amy Graham left a 5 star review 8 months ago- of course she did, she helped ignore the multitude of issues with this place. As of October of 2024 the medicare.gov site lists them with a 1 star review. This place is toxic. Their time has finally come. When the news reached out for comment the administrator ignored them, having nothing to say. That says a lot. That is what they do, they pretend all is well until the truth comes to the surface. Graham stepped down as DON due to a severe lack of knowing how to be a leader, but gives it a 5 star rating. She is completely devoid of leadership qualities and a basic understanding of how to treat people like people and not objects. No surprise Brandi the administrator is still in hiding, hoping this all goes away. Do not put a loved one in Premier, they will gaslight you just like they do the staff. The girl who exposed them deserves a medal. High time someone gave them a taste of their own medicine. Curious to see in the follow up news article how they dodge responsibility for the outrageous conditions they make residents and staff work under. They don't care folks, all they want is money. Google it.

I love coming to visit and volunteer here at Premier. I truly wish I had more time to give but they are always nice and happy to have us. Period prior to Covid we used to bring in our dog Sadie who is our Golden doodle to visit. Now we just help in the activities area whenever possible. Thank you to Allysha and her staff for always Making us feel welcome.

Smells horrible and does not take care of residents. They are very well known in the community as the “place of horrors and hell”. They are just as bad as Onslow Memorial. I know it’s difficult to find a local place to put your loved ones, but do your due diligence and find another place. Living in a dumpster is equivalent to here.

Very please with the services that Premier provided for my Father during his 2-month stay. They provided so much more than the basics, including bi-weekly discussions on the care plan, updates from PT and OT teams, support from the social work team, and even easy communication with the billing department. We could not ask for more in providing both family support and direct care for the guest. They also did an excellent job of managing the COVID environment by following all health guidelines and notifying us of any exposures. It is a difficult time when a loved-one has to be in a care facility. Premier made the experience bearable with their responsiveness, flexibility and professionalism.

I travel for my job so I see a lot of facilities. I have been at Premier for just over a month. What really impresses me about Premier is the kindness and genuineness of the staff. They love the residents and the residents love them right back. The activities program is well- attended and diverse. The hallways are clean. The nursing care is very good, and the nurse managers are very knowledgeable and thorough. The therapy department is top notch. I eat at the facility almost daily and have had some very good meals! I would recommend Premier Nursing And Rehab for placement of a loved one and for employment.

They were good to my mom so I can't complain !! I got my mom back home so I'm happy and she is Happy!!! More staff would help in so many ways but it's like that at any nursing home I've seen with my own eyes it'd going to take something for all nursing homes to get that I'm sure hopefully one day I would love to see that happen :)
