10/10 would recommend Prehab 🤘 I first visited for a comprehensive running gait analysis, which helped me adjust my form for more efficient running. Later, when I faced hip flexor tightness that almost jeopardized my Rock ā€˜n’ Roll Marathon, I turned to Prehab again. With Marielle’s help through several physical therapy sessions, I was able to run my race—something I didn’t think was possible towards the end of my training block. The clinic is clean, and I appreciated the 1:1 attention. You work directly with your physical therapist—no hand-offs to PT assistants. Scheduling was easy through phone, text, or their website, and parking is super convenient with a large lot. Their PT packages are worth it for me because they included complimentary K-laser therapy and Hyperice Normatec compression boots, which really supported my recovery. Marielle is fantastic—personable, knowledgeable, and dedicated. She understood how important running the race was to me, so she focused on helping me achieve my goals. Unlike other PT clinics, especially those through my insurance, which likely would have told me to stop running, she tailored my care to keep me race-ready. If you’re looking for a clinic that truly understands runners and provides effective, personalized care, I highly recommend Prehab!

I have been to 20 different physical therapy clinics including 5 in San Diego and the rest in Norway. I am a competitive marathon runner aiming for the 2028 Olympics in LA and I have finally found a clinic that specializes in runners. After 4 years of constant injuries, including 6 bone stress injuries, I am so happy to have come across a data driven clinic like Prehab. Their gait analysis is 10/10 and we are always finding ways to improve my form. Marielle is a certified athletic trainer who keeps challenging me and I am so happy to have found the perfect team to help me achieve my ambitious goal. If you are a runner in San Diego looking for a physical therapy clinic, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Prehab is IT!

Prehab is the best thing I have invested in for my physical and mental health in recent history. I had an ongoing issue with my side/hip that I had done 12 weeks of traditional PT for, to only have the issue come back. I was frustrated and discouraged with what was going on with my body. Within the first assessment the doctor (Bree) identified my right hip wasn't as strong as my left hip (causing other issues with my glutes). I purchased a 12 week package. In that time, we identified exercises to strengthen it and how to improve my running form. For the first time in two years, I feel confident in my running again and know my issues are correctable, and feel validated in knowing I wasn't crazy and there are solutions! After such discouragement in 12 weeks of traditional PT, I felt like a new person with 12 weeks at Prehab. The whole team at Prehab is incredible. Not only do they take your running journey to heart, they're the number one hype squad. I will continue to go to monitor my work as I continue to rebuild. I look forward to each of my Prehab sessions. Highly recommend Prehab services not only if you have an injury, but want to improve overall as a runner.

Prehab is AMAZING! not only is their service amazing but their staff are so welcoming. They make you feel nice and cozy as soon as you walk in. When I went in the very first day I had little hope that they could help me because I had been struggling with an injury for months. I was just about ready to give up. After speaking to Marielle about my pain she was so sure it was something she could help me with. I decided to have PT with them and it's been by far the best investment. I have had so much improvement that I am now confident about racing CIM in December. It might not be a personal best since I'm just getting back at it but Prehab definitely got me up and going again. I'm so grateful for the entire team there Bree, Marielle, and Kelsey. Thank you for all you do to make us stronger!

Prehab provided excellent care for my multiple injuries. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and created a personalized treatment plan that helped me get back on the soccer field. The facility itself is clean and has lots of equipment. Highly recommend for anyone in need of quality physical therapy!ā€

I went to Prehab for an IT Band issue and was pleasantly surprised with the additional services offered. As a competitive runner the gait analysis and expertise of my therapist Marielle was something I was looking for. Wonderful place for athletes looking to stay healthy and utilize state of art maintenance therapies.

I highly recommend going to prehab san diego. Not just for injuries. I went to them initially because I had a hamstring injury. With a run analysis we learned my stride was too long. By adjusting my running form i ran pain free. After that we worked on strengthening my hamstring and surrounding areas. They helped make me a stronger runner and provided so much education that will help continue my running journey.

Working with the Prehab team has been nothing but exceptional. I started off with a running gait analysis to spot areas for improvement in my stride to better optimize my efficiency. From there, I've been working with Marielle during a 12-session strength training program. Her knowledge on running-specific strength exercises has really helped me strengthen areas I've historically neglected in my personal weightlifting regimen, and after 8 sessions so far, I'm feeling more efficient and explosive on my runs and workouts. Along with Marielle's expertise and carefully thought-out strength program she personalized for my own running goals, I can't say enough about the rest of the staff at Prehab. Natalie, Bree, and Lily (before she left!) are all so kind and knowledgeable in what they do, and you feel so comfortable the moment you walk in. Plus, they have an amazing Thursday night run club that's perfect for any ability level! Can't recommend their services enough!
