Me and my 3 children have all been patients at this practice for over a year- the amount of dedication their providers have at this office is indescribable. Dr.Mona is all 3 of my children’s doctor and she is truly the most amazing pediatrician I have ever encountered. I have never seen a doctor advocate and display such levels of compassion. She goes absolutely above and beyond to answer all my questions, takes her time to educate me, validates my “mama worries” and genuinely displays concern and empathy with my children. My daughter had a recent hospitalization and Dr.Mona has seen my daughter since-multiple times. She has dotted every I and crossed every T to make sure she was recovering adequately. She has often contacted me to check on my daughter as well and I have never felt so assured with my children’s health because of Dr. Mona. If you are a parent I can assure you-you will not find a better pediatrician. As for myself- I have been a patient of Dr.Thurmans for over a year as well and can describe him very similarly to Dr.Mona. I have struggled with chronic pain and mental health issues my whole life and Dr.Thurman is the first provider I have ever felt like didn’t make me feel “crazy” for describing my symptoms and has actually taken his time to alleviate and treat symptoms as well as form care plans that actually make sense. He displays equal amounts of compassion, education and advocacy for his patients along with his nurse Genesis, and me and my family are very grateful for both Dr’s dedication to their patients. The only issues I have ever had with this office was communication from the front desk but I communicated how I felt to them and they were very understanding- seems the issue was fixed immediately. I believe the issue was being understaffed with receptionists but my last appointment with them seems to be more receptionist being hire and I haven’t had any issues since (:

I’ve been at the Fort Mitchell branch for a few years now. I am very happy with their care! The front desk women are sweet, they listen, and they care. The nurses are kind, funny and also caring. Dr. Amanda Uzzell is AMAZING. It usually takes a long time to get a doctor to listen and believe me and she does and she does what it takes to help me get the care I need. I was briefly released from their care due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances and when I went to the clinic and inquired and explained what happened, April was more than happy to ask the upper management if they could bring me back on and I’m so grateful to her and them for understanding and allowing me back on. Appointments are easy to make and typically not that far out. They also leave room for Urgent care and same-day’s. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Fort Mitchell clinic! Their main office in Phenix City is wonderful too, the few times I’ve had to go.

Love the way the doctor talks to my mom. The 2 starts are because of her treatment. If I have to give any start to the way they handle their time. It will be a -0 because the lack of consideration for people's time. If the appointment is scheduled to a specific time, there should not be a reason why the patient is not seen until an hr or more later. There's been 3 times that I have to cancel my own appointments at the last minute because my mom waited 2 hrs to being seen.

I've been bringing my children to PMG for about 14 years now. Always received excellent care. The staff is friendly, and they're genuinely committed to giving my children the care they need. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a reliable doctor for their children.

I have transferred my two children away from this office. I got tired of calling and leaving voice-mails to get my child in for an appointment. No one cared to call back until I switched offices and called to cancel all the appointments for my children, then suddenly they could call back. The inappropriate comment that was said towards my child while looking at their private parts. Being forced to a different location when I didn't want to because our pharmacy was close to the other one. And don't tell me to call and talk to the office manager when you all could not be bothered to call me back before. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The only decent practitioner is leaving, so why stay?

I love preferred medical,there staff is friendly and the doctor's are the best. Although this office initially rubbed me the wrong way,but they were willing to make it right which was very thoughtful and considerate of the manager, for acknowledging my concerns I had about my kids appointments she was very understanding and willing to immediately make things better for me and my family, which was awesome and that's why I gave them a 5 star, I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the future in search of a new pediatrician or doctor.Thanks Preferred Medical group

My daughter has been having stomach issues for weeks. Did everything the doctor said. She still in pain. We went back to them Monday and they still wanted to wait another week. Now she is at the ER with a massive blockage. Having to admit. These doctors here are horrible. They don’t listen to the parents or the kids.

no need to write a long paragraph. This place is just not it. I’m not sure they’re overwhelmed or what the issue is. There are other providers in the surrounding areas. Some providers in Columbus also accept Alabama Medicaid. I’ve already found a new provider for myself and my kids (4).
