There are other PT practices much closer to where I live, but Potrero Physical Therapy is totally worth the drive across town. Celina is a caring and skilled therapist, who keeps the exercises challenging enough to advance my healing from ankle surgery, but not risk a setback with overly aggressive activities. I trust her completely, and am glad that I chose PPT!

Celina is a god send. She was recommended to me by my physician to help me manage my lower back pain and neck stiffness that was making it hard for me to do anything. I had a ruptured disc in L4, L5 and had radiating pain going down my legs. She patiently listened to all my concerns, and showed me simple but effective exercises that helped right from the beginning. The targeted massaging at the beginning of each session made all the difference as it loosened the muscles enough for me do the exercises without pain. She also provided me with the PDFs of all my home exercises with all the necessary information which were incredibly useful. With her help I was able resume my day to day activities and now have been able to get back to playing badminton which was unfathomable a few months ago. I am extremely grateful to her and the rest of the staff at Potrero physical therapy(who couldn’t have been nicer) for helping me with everything.

Nicole at Potrero Physical Therapy is absolutely amazing. Dealing with a rotator cuff tear from my work as a firefighter, I was limited in where I could go for treatment due to it being a workers' compensation injury. After trying two other therapists post-surgery with little success, finding Nicole was a total game-changer. I'm incredibly relieved that I didn't give up my search for effective physical therapy. What really stood out to me was Nicole's extensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics. She tailored each session with exercises and techniques that were not only effective but also safe for my recovery. Thanks to Nicole, I've made remarkable progress in my recovery and regained mobility that I thought I might never get back. Her positivity and support got me through even the toughest sessions, leaving me feeling motivated and optimistic about my journey. The entire team at Potrero Physical Therapy was warm and professional, creating a welcoming environment that truly enhanced my overall experience. I can't recommend Nicole at Potrero Physical Therapy highly enough!

i have haad two rounds of therapy at PPT. Once for my R hip and once for my right shoulder. Arthritis. Saw the same therapist for both. I had great results, no more pain in my shoulder and reduced pain in hip. PPT is clean and well run. I never had to wait beyond my appt time to be seen. i would go back if necessary. Parking is easy too.

It actually works! Best PT I have ever gotten (and I have had a lot). After following Celina's instructions for a month, my ankle was stronger than before I twisted it.

My son recently completed treatment for bicep tendinitis. His therapist, Nicole, was fantastic. She designed a great program with targeted exercises to help relieve the pain and strengthen his arm and shoulder. As a result, he was able to resume his normal tennis routine much quicker than anticipated. Highly recommend!

The therapists at PPT are wonderworkers. I have come in once with a major rotator cuff tear and again with a shoulder ache so deep and subtle I could barely describe it. Both times, Nicole not only alleviated the immediate condition; she gave me a toolkit going forward so I could handle symptoms myself. I am 78, and she was the perfect mix of gentle and challenging. I cannot praise Potrero Physical Therapy highly enough.
