My PCP recommended Positive Energy PT. Jay was my therapist and after watching me do some basic movements for 5 minutes, Jay came up with a program that has changed my life. I had been living with chronic back pain on and off for twenty years and saw a handful of doctors. No one was ever able to find the cause of my pain, but Jay taught me to strengthen and treat spots that were problematic. Thanks to Jay I am swimming, running, and walking without any pain. He also helped me improve my Olympic lifting form, which has helped me improve my strength and efficiency in the gym. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. In addition to the therapists, the front desk is also helpful and responsive!

My orthopedic doctor recommended Positive Energy for rehabbing the pain I was experiencing in my shoulder and neck. Samantha (Sam) Shook was my physical therapist and has a professional and friendly approach in dealing with her patients. What I appreciated most about Sam's treatment process was her constant re-evaluation of my condition and listening to my thoughts on the progress from the assigned therapy regimen. As a result, my exercises were modified to the point where I am no longer experiencing pain in the troubled areas. I am proud to recommend Positive Energy and Sam to serve as your physical therapist.

Jay is AMAZING. I was hurt in a car accident in May (knee, hips, back and neck) and wasn't able to start PT until August. Jay is very thorough; his treatment and exercises are very mindful of what the largest problem is and tackle that first. He checks in frequently during the session to be sure the exercises are feeling "safe" and like work, so as not to cause excess pain or re injury). During the process of attending to my car accident issues I pinched a nerve in my back. Jay switched our therapy plans to incorporate pain relief and healing. Every time I have an appointment I marvel at how much it helps me. I've had PT before from broken bones and Jay is by far the most attentive and provides care that has noticable and lasting effects. Everyone I have interacted with for insurance, payment, scheduling, and being greeted have been so warm and friendly. The facility is clean and not crowded so I don't feel like I have to adjust my work for space reasons.

Sean Ryan is the absolute best physical therapist around. I have had some serious back issues over the years. Sean has me on a daily program of exercises at home. I do them religiously and they have changed my life. No more pain. I can golf and live a normal life thanks to Sean.

After a total (R) knee replacement, a friend recommended Positive Energy Physical Therapist Sean Ryan. I am so grateful for that advice. Sean, Alyssa and Adrianne were very understanding and worked with me as far as insurance hurdles and scheduling of appointments. Sean is very knowledgeable and works with patients one on one. He devotes his full attention to your rehabilitation goals. My goal was to be physically ready to surf in Nicaragua 3 months post knee surgery. Sean's workouts and encouragement gave me the strength and confidence needed to make that goal a reality. When I returned from my trip to finish up my allocated amount of therapy sessions, Sean's attention to detail led him to discover a slight gait in my walk he noticed using his multi camera treadmill video tool (it takes simultaneous videos from three different angles). The facility is never crowded, super clean and everyone on the staff is very friendly and had a smile for me every time I went in for therapy. Positive energy is all I experienced, the name fits! Thanks Sean!! Attached photos are of me surfing at exactly 3 months post op.

Sam was an excellent and thorough PT, she listened to my concerns and my program progressed each visit which I appreciated because I was very eager to return to running. After only 4-5 visits (and doing her exercise program at home a few times a week) I was running again without pain in my hamstring. The front desk staff was quick, efficient and I appreciated the reminder texts in case of cancellations so I was able to get in quicker to see Sam.

I am writing to recommend both Positive Energy as a physical therapy organization, and Matt Varca as a terrific physical therapist. There is, in fact, positive energy in the facility all around you when you are there (in the form of therapists and their patients working hard at recoveries) and it contributes to your own sense of recovering and working hard to achieve your rehab goals. Matt Varca is the therapist who guided me through my rehab from a knee replacement and he was nothing short of excellent. Each session he would assess my progress, discuss my evolving goals (as my knee got stronger and the scope of what I could achieve grew) and tailor exercises to keep me moving forward. Additionally, he always explained what each exercise was meant to achieve and, more importantly, the details of how the exercise should be performed. I am so pleased with the outcome of my recovery thanks to Positive Energy and Matt Varca. Kevin Ryan

Great place! I went in for plantar fascitis rehab and received a cupping treatment from physical therapist Jay Kim that helped immediately. He also gave me some great stretches and exercises to do at home that that have helped. Also, he evaluated my running gait and gave me some running drills to improve it and reduce the risk of future injury.
