Play on Words Pediatric Therapy

Our son has been at Play on Words for almost three years. He has made so much progress in that time. Ashley and the staff have helped our family to remain positive and see and focus on his progress throughout our speech delay journey.

Play on Words Therapy was so amazing for my son! Speech therapy with Miss Kayla and occupational therapy with Miss Angie was so fun and helpful. Mrs Ashley and her team are professional, dedicated and compassionate. Paisley the front desk receptionist was very proactive and helpful. There have been countless examples of play on words going above and beyond. Mrs Ashley is the coolest, her and her team works very well with kids. My daughter loves Ms Ashley! We have had such wonderful experiences with Ashley and her team. Ashley has helped me to improve eating and speech with my daughter between 11months to 15 months of age. She gives such tactical tips that are truly life changing when it comes to eating and speaking experiences. She is so great with the kids and her team truly cares. I highly recommend!!

My daughter was always extremely difficult to understand, I was constantly translating for her which was very frustrating to her. Her friends couldn’t really understand her and when we we brought her to Ashley to evaluate her, we learned that while she was 3 years and 7 months, her verbal skills were that of a 25 month old. Ashley told us she could get her caught up in about 6 months. We started two days later on February 20, and she finished her last session on May 14, way before the projected time. Ashley’s so amazing with kids, they absolutely adore her. She always gave us words to work on with her and for the first time ever, she’s not needing me to explain what she’s saying. I only wish we had done this sooner! My kids are already asking to go back to visit her. I am so excited for her to be able to communicate with her friends and teachers, and I am so so thankful for Ashley and highly recommend her!

Play on Words spends time working with their clients to make sure they are giving the best care a child can get. The therapist works to stay informed on new and effective therapeutic strategies as well as keeping parents educated on progress.

The staff makes sure every single child feels special, going above and beyond to give each child the best therapy daily and encouraging them to do their best. Couldn't recommend a better location to take a child needing assistance with speech therapy
