PKL Physical Therapy - Amityville

Couldn't have asked for a better place to go after my hip replacement surgery. From Heather and Kaitlyn at the front desk taking care of appointments and co-pays, always ready to help, to Laura, helping with Insurance paperwork, to all the therapy assistants I had the pleasure of working with helping me every step of the way on my journey including Alexis, Amanda, Kat, Rego, Myles, Nolan and Matt. Then there are the therapists, including Constantyne, Christa, Eva and Parsa who will get you conditioned for rehab exercises and more importantly, improving the quality of life. I know these fine people were a great help getting me back to take on life after my surgery, definitely highly recommend these folks!

PKL, Dr Karimi and his staff are all wonderful. From the second you walk in the door to the moment you leave you are met with a high quality of standard. I went in with years pain and l left his office pain free. I would highly recommend Dr Karimi and his staff

We generally take health for granted until we do not have it. In July of 2022, I hurt my back. I was stuck in bed unable to walk for a full two weeks. I have had epidurals and have been trying to avoid Surgery. I used chiropractic care, Messages, and nothing was working. I went to other Physical Therapy places the initial help was terrific. By the 2nd and 3rd times, I was driving to do my Physical Therapy myself with a helper just checking in. recently, I started to go to PKL from the start, and it was different. They are excellent from billing to availability to attention to detail, but all of that pails in comparison to how my back has felt in just one month! I can not thank PKL more and recommend you try them in the event you need Physical Therapy

PKL treated my 6yr old son after he broke his arm on the monkey bars. Upon arrival his first day, he couldn’t fully straighten his arm or bend it. After a few sessions, we saw a drastic improvement in his range of motion. In the hours I spent observing the staff with my son and other patients, I was blown away at how warm, friendly, attentive and patient they are with everyone while still being knowledgeable. I know people will say, that is what is expected, however, we all know it is very rare these days. PKL is one of those rare gems that is run the way an establishment should be run. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with kindness, respect and patience from physical therapists and staff that are very well educated…this is the only place to go!

I have had 7 surgeries on my left knee. After every surgery I was sent to physical Theropy. PKL has been one of the best places I have been to. The staff is friendly and care for every client. Wonderful place.

Very comfortable setting with caring PTs and techs who listen and have you advance at a steady, safe pace. Very professional.

I am the third member of my family going to PKL. We all agree that this is the best physical therapy treatment we have experienced. Everyone is extremely attentive. There is always someone watching to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and that there is no wait time to your next station. Very organized and friendly staff, clean facility, and the therapeutic massages at the end are perfection.

PKL is amazing!! I highly recommend coming here for your care! The physical therapists and aids are so welcoming, caring, supportive, informative, compassionate and knowledgeable! I can’t say enough good things about them. They truly listen and do their best to help you through your pain. They have been vital to my healing process! They understand what your going through and create a great plan to make you stronger and it’s a slow process, but I wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else! PKL and it’s staff, is the game changer and best place to do your PT in my opinion! It’s not easy working through an injury and pain, but they help you every step of the way! I am very grateful I came here for PT. It’s also a great atmosphere, open, great music too which helps focus and very clean which is Important in these times. I’m grateful for the physical Therapists and aids during this tough journey! If you have a choice where to go for PT, definitely come here!
