I can not brag enough about this place. My daughter is a competing gymnast with a very busy schedule between school practice and various medical appts to keep her body strong. Ms. Tonya is always sure to accommodate our schedule and Hannah has done wonders for my daughter who came to her suffering from Osgood Schlatters. She is always friendly and gets my kid to do PT work without pain. Hands down don’t go anywhere else come to Pivot navy yard where your recovery always comes first.

If you need physical therapy, I STRONGLY recommend Pivot! I have chronic back issues, and even in my early 30s, have spent considerable time in physical therapy with several different PTs. Because of this experience, I’ve gotten to pick up on treatment approaches that I like and I’m very picky with finding a good PT match. After experiencing a significant lower back flare up, I came to Pivot and was matched with Erin. Erin is amazing at both levels that I find important in PT care. First, she is extremely knowledgeable. She had a plan (which proved to be effective) and answered my daily, numerous questions in an accessible manner. Second, she was a joy to work with. She has an incredibly upbeat attitude and was fun to converse with while receiving treatment. This positivity is reflected in the clinic as a whole. Everyone I interacted with, including the front desk, other PTs, and assistants, were lovely to talk with. As a bonus, Pivot has engaging question of the week prompts that are fun to work with. Taken together, I highly recommend Pivot.

Great PT location. I had major shoulder surgery and limited range. Erin was able to get me to my goal of full range and build strength sooner than expected! Friendly and inviting atmosphere from the whole pivot staff

Re-injured a herniated disc and went to Pivot Physical Therapy in the Navy Yard in hopes of avoiding surgery. Not only was I successful, but started feeling relief after only 2 weeks (half the time of past re-injuries). Erin and the whole team were great. Not only were they experts in their craft, but they were so positive it was infectious. Absolutely recommend.

I had to use this location, further from where I live, because they had available openings when my local one did not. The staff were extremely supportive, empathetic, diligent, informative and enthusiastic. They responded to several “above and beyond” requests, were openly communicative and absolutely killed it. Extremely grateful for the care.
