Pivot PT - Frederick (Thomas Johnson Drive)

I have been in PT with Conrad Carter in the Frederick, MD (Thomas Johnson Drive). He has done wonders getting me strong and back to a healthy range of motion, with no pain, following a total hip replacement. I would definitely recommend Conrad and the other providers at this location! They make you feel welcome and it’s easy to enjoy what can be grueling exercises and joint manipulation with a group of nice, competent PT team of professionals.

The Frederick Pivot team on Thomas Johnson drive were amazing! I had my knee replaced and they worked me through a pretty tough routine. Meagan, Dr. Carter, Barbie and the interns were great! I worked the most with Dr. Rashmi Tulsian, who was fantastic! She always knew how to safely take me to my limit, and then some. I was able to get back to work 30 days after surgery due to the great physical therapy they provided. Great team, great culture, great customer service. Highly recommend!!!!

I tried this location and it was the worst PT establishment that I’ve ever been too. I went to Rashmi twice. During my second visit, she talked to the tech most of the time about football and what she should put on the tv. She did dry needling and worked on my back for five minutes. I decided to try Conrad after that and he was the worst. He massaged my back for five minutes then walked away. He talked about sports with the aide and the tech who was sitting near me. I had to ask the tech who was sitting near me what to do. I was given three exercises. It was a waste of time going to that session. I was the only patient there since it was the end of the day and was shocked he walked away without saying anything. I wanted to just walk out. This place is a PT mill. I tried them because my doctor referred me. I went back to my old PT who spends 30 minutes hands on time doing dry needling, massage and stretching. I have been finding relief after two visits with my old therapist. You’re just a number at Pivot and they just want your money.

The physical therapy treatment I received from Conrad Carter and the Pivot team was excellent. My recovery took longer than I expected but I was always told I would reach my goal with time and determination which I did. They listened to all my concerns and helped me work through my pain. The whole team is top notch.

Athletico/Pivot Physical Therapist Conrad Carter is fabulous!! His dry needling finally took away the pain in my calf after 3 years of me trying everything to find relief. Kudos to Conrad!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for muscle relief.

Absolutely Awesome Experience!!! Queenie gave me the BEST dry needling (first timer here) and I felt immediate relief!!! Conrad, Megan, and the rest of the staff were such a JOY to be around!!! Great experience at the Pivot on TJ Drive with PTA Meagan Vickers. She was knowledgeable and personable, and made the experience a very positive one. I loved the vibe of the team working there. They have a lot of fun while remaining professional. Shout out to the front desk staff as well For their friendliness and always accommodating schedules as best they can.

Queen is AMAZING!! She is so compassionate and beyond caring! She takes her time and truly wants you to get better! I cannot recommend a practice more than this one. The whole staff is caring and funny and makes you feel at home!
