Pittsburg Health Center

Waited for 2 hours in the lab, noticed everyone else has been called then when I followed up the receptionist clearly forgot to put my mom's paper on the waiting list bin, she pulled it out from a separate bin and lied about "oh we called you twice". Well, not true! We are just sitting infront waiting for her name to be called... she should have been honest and apologize than putting the blame on us.

Had an appointment yesterday on 7/9/24 for my son on the fourth floor, I walked up to the middle window to check in, and there was a heavyset African-American lady, look to be in her 50s, Sitting on her cell phone. I asked her if her window was open, and with attitude, she replied “ You see me sitting here, right?” So I responded I apologize, I wasn’t sure if you were on break. She said I was, but I guess I can help you. She continued with asking me questions and getting me checked in, and at the end I asked if my son’s doctor and nurses could please put on masks. Her response was , They all wear mask anyways. I can see through the windows The workers passing by and a lot of them were not wearing masks, that’s why I had asked. I proceeded to sit down, And when my son got called the person helping him, Was not wearing a mask. It was very disheartening and I felt very uncomfortable.

So my husband was doing therapy here and after only 4 visits out eight and going once a week they discharged him my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke a year ago and can’t walk or do anything on his own the therapist ray doesn’t know what he’s talking about saying he was improving well that really didn’t do anything never did ot barely did pt this place sucks

All of the workers in Pittsburg health center deserve more than 5 stars . I want to thank my doctor because she’s caring and very helpful and she’s very fast with everything’s needed to be done I am pleased to have her as my primary provider and I’m grateful for that and I always appreciate her and all the workers who work hard in this clinic I really do.

Love my dentist and the assistants at this location. I have been there about 4 times. Very happy with the care. They are experienced and professional. Can't comment on medical care since I haven't scheduled with anyone else yet.

The waiting time in the laboratory is very long. The nurse who was drawing my blood tried 3 times and failed all 3 times.

Great staff but terrible everything else. When you first walk in. You do not feel you will be getting the best care. And you are right. Have a severe health issue that needs to be taken care of? Get ready for battle of the phone calls. You will NEVER get through to make that appointment. This place is a joke and not taking peoples health seriously is not funny. Needs MUCH improvement.
