I have worked for Pioneer on a few different occasions & each time it ends the same way, highly disappointed :( The residents ARE cared for w the bare minimum of struggling employees doing their best. Honestly there are plenty of kind & loving staff that work there putting their lives on hold & licenses on the line to take care of your loved ones. However it ALWAYS boils down to who's running the place. The "new" management "team" is just as bad as any who they have claimed to replace, worse in a lot of cases. The Newest, in a long string, of administrators is another wolf in sheep's clothing & does not care about the very employees that run the facility in the least bit. She was personally responsible for distressing more than half of the building w a payroll "error" just before the holidays & instead of owning up to HER mistake, offering any type of Christmas bonus or even giving a simple apology she demanded ALL employees unknowingly involved to repay the facility starting on their Thanksgiving day paychecks & terminating anyone who dared speak up putting many families in hardship & distress during an already "tight" time of the year. Pioneer states they are locally owned but the parent company is based out of California & only cares about their bottom line as evidenced by the dated building & horrible accommodations for the outrageous private cost to live there. I would def recommend staying as far away from this place as possible unless you are in dire straights. You will be just as well to stay @ the nicest hotel in your area w private care for much less.

I worked at Pioneer Health Care Center for many years as a CNA and a psychic tech I loved every moment of it I was sad to leave but when I came back I was welcomed with open arms I learned so much there with my coworkers my peers the residents and my higher ups the emotional bond I built with residents there past and present I’ll hold on in my heart and memory forever I’ve cried smiled laughed with my residents my peers there family’s and I’m proud to now be a director of the incredible facility to be part of Social Services I’m learning so much to better help the residents to better help my peers and to be there for a support for all the family’s to answer questions and to be an advocate for them all. I can truly say I love Pioneer and I truly love the family we are building and the incredible culture that we are forming.

Recently my father had to be placed in long term care. It was difficult to find him a placement because he isn't COVID vaccinated and doesn't want to be anywhere that isn't his home, making him a difficult patient. Pioneer staff has been so supportive and helpful to both my father and myself. They went above and beyond to help find him an appropriate bed set up and to help him feel welcome. They have been very communicative with me in regard to his well being and how he's been settling in. The facility was clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. Residents reported liking being there. I am not thrilled about how far it is from my home, but overall this place has been lovely....I was concerned because of some of these reviews, but I have to say that since the reviews are a year or more old, this place is no longer like that, at least not in my experience, thankfully.

I accepted the Social Service Director position at Pioneer Health Care Center in November of 2022. Since I have held this position I have been apart of so many amazing positive progressive changes. We are moving towards turning our Nursing Facility into a home that our residents can call a home that they are proud to live in. Our residents are being served and treated as one should be in a SNF with the upmost care, gratitude and respect. In addition we are striving towards community inclusions by holding Special Events for our residents that will enhance their quality of life. We welcome our community members to come see all the progress we have made and will continue to make in the near future.

Call Monday to schedule an appointment for my mother-in-law to take a tour of the facility to see if it would be acceptable to her call back today since we haven't received a call and nobody had any idea of us even calling apparently this is not the facility to be at

I recently walked in this place to visit a loved one and was beyond offended and shocked this facility is allowed to be in business. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the intense smell of urine throughout this place and front desk help consumed with their cell phones. If that wasn't brutal enough this place is dark, beyond dated, and dreery. The hospital beds are from the 50s. You have to manually crank patients up into a sitting position. They do not have safety siderails and are faced away from the windows so patients cannot look out. Blinds are broken and will not open. The tv's do not have remotes for the bedridden and are on top of extremely dated future. My loved one was forced to stare at the bathroom and closet. Every food order she requested was wrong. The lack of care she received doesn't even qualify as one star service. The walls are painted medium to dark 70's color. It saddens me how these people are living. I can't imagine how they have passed any state and health inspections. All I see are lawsuits in the making. Bottom line... Pioneer and loved ones DO NOT BELONG IN THE SAME SENTENCE. !!! It may or may not make a difference however I will be filing complaints with anyone I can about this place. These patients deserve so much better on so many levels.

I called three times yesterday needing to speak to someone in housekeeping and the young lady at the front desk hung up on me all three times. I went today to get a application the front doors were locked so I stood there like a dummy ringing that doorbell no answer, I called no answer. I had no choice but to call the big wig's, no place should be ran like this.
