This place allows its employees to park in the handicap parking spaces and the no parking loading zone so it is very difficult to get in there and pick people up for doctor's appointments and to load patients in a wheelchair accessible van. If you are in a wheelchair accessible van that has a side lift You're basically forced to load your patients in the middle of the street. I have shared a photo of the employees vehicles in this parking spot in the photo section of their web page

I would have liked to not place a star on the rating at all. But to say the least, this place is atrocious. Employees act nice, but deep down inside, they could care less. It, however, reflects a bigger problem with ownership and management. My mother-in-law, who lives with us, was placed their for a mere 30 days; when we picked her up, they tried to hide the fact that she couldn't even bare her own weight on her legs. They stuffed her in the car, with her diaper full of waste. When we got home, we couldn't even get her out of the car, much less gave her a decent bath. We had to wait until the next day when a couple of caregivers showed up to assist. All in all, we hired two caregivers for two weeks just to take care of her, because she was now bedridden. After two full weeks, she was able to bare her weight on her legs, but still with lots of assistance. We will NEVER used this place again, therefore, I caution others if they decide to place their love ones in this facility.

I have been in three postacute care centers over the past year. I’ve met nice people, competent nursing staff’s and some of the best CNA’s. But I must say the Pineridge, as the most kindhearted people working on their staff. They also have an excellent physical therapy lab and by far the best occupational therapist.

I was there for too long. A woman was always screaming. They discontinued a drug without my knowledge or permission. I would rather be dead than to go back.
