Physical Therapy - St. Joseph Health - College Station, TX

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. My daughter has Down syndrome and has been seeing OT and PT for rehab therapy and low tone. Amy, Jen, Rachel, and Cassie have been amazing. They are not deterred by my daughter’s stubbornness, and they always work therapy into her interests and play. My daughter loves coming to therapy every week and loves her therapists. The front office is so accommodating with scheduling & rescheduling needs. My daughter also had quite a few sick days during the school year and they were understanding when we had to cancel morning of because of symptoms. The whole therapy team considers my daughter’s overall health and works alongside our providers to assess her needs and progress. They truly care for her as if she was their own child. I’m grateful we have found a therapy home for our girl!

I set an appointment for my son’s speech Evaluation two weeks in advance for 2pm. I did not get an appointment confirmation, reminder, or any indication of the time and day my appointment is. At 1:06pm I get a voicemail from them asking if I’m coming to my 1pm appointment. I called them back 3 times and they did not answer. I wasn’t sure if this was the same place since I’ve been called in the past by a different speech therapy place so I continued to my appointment at 2pm. When I got there at 1:30 they informed me that appointment was at 1 and the therapist left. They couldn’t schedule me the next day and my sons insurance is currently waiting to be renewed. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and can not wait to see when they can see my son since I won’t be able to take him once the baby comes. I am upset at the fact that they did not email/text/call for an appointment confirmation or reminder letting me know that my appointment is at 1. Because I would have been on time if they did. They didn’t answer the phone when I called back to clear things up. It’s very inconvenient and has stressed me way more out then I need to be. I do not plan on rescheduling and I warn other people to make sure you call them in advance to insure you have the right appointment time because I strongly fee the woman that I talked to put the wrong time down.

The therapists are great but this policy of signing monthly consent forms for therapy we have done for years is super annoying.

My daughter has been coming here for almost 2 years and with out her therapist she wouldn’t be doing as well as she is they are not family

My son has occupational, speech, and physical therapy here. All of the therapists are outstanding.
