Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers Guilford

I received physical therapy at PTSMC in Guilford in January and February, 2024. Having had knee surgery (miniscus) years ago, I was experiencing sharp pain in the same knee. My therapist, Quinn McAnaney, devised a highly successful treatment plan that had me pain free in a relatively short time. Each member of the staff I interacted with was friendly, and the facility was clean and well equipped. I have no hesitation in rating them a 5 STAR health care provider! Chuck C.

I had a bad knee and I was in a lot of pain. I did not get any relief after going to a Chiropractor. Waste of money! Physical therapy and Sports medicine therapists were very helpful and they were able to get my pain under control. I highly recommend them, especially the PTSMC in Guilford- Zachary C was very thorough and knowledgeable and provided excellent care.

Jane, PT for hands, is the primary reason for my 5 star review. She is everything one could ask for--cares, listens, explains, & presents a no-rush demeanor. I went from being highly skeptical that my contracted finger ligament could be relaxed/straightened to being very optimistic. By my 7-week dr followup, it will be back to near normal. I had a hip replacement in 2019 and followed that up with a full knee replacement in 2023. I trusted my full recovery with PTSMC in Guilford. My PT Zack C. worked closely with me on both recoveries, reassuring me that I would recover, and then working to make that promise a reality. We were partners in both the physical and mental recovery to allow me to return to an active lifestyle. I appreciate and thank PTSMC and Zack for their expertise and guidance.

Don’t hesitate to have your physical therapy here! Everyone is friendly and helpful. You are also assigned to one therapist the entire time which is great and makes so much sense. I had Pat and he did a great job of pushing me, but also took the time to hear my concerns and answers all of my questions. 10/10 would recommend and shout out to all of the assistants too - you guys and gals are great!

As I've reported previously, there is a big difference when going to Guilford Physical Therapy &Sports Medicine compared to other facilities I've used. They are compassionate in their care and very patient when explaining the different exercises. I'm a senior citizen and appreciate it as I've been insulted at another facility when I couldn't remember the three exercises he threw at me all at once. Even the staff at the front desk are friendly and always polite. Also, there's plenty of parking compared to other places.

Highly skilled professionals provide expert guidance to get you back to where you were before an injury, surgery, etc. Staff is genuinely interested in ensuring proper care and motivation is provided. After experiencing an injury on two separate occasions, it was comforting to know Steve and his trained professionals were available to perform and provide solutions to get me back to being pain free and ready to resume activities.
