Had a great experience with them after requiring PT from a fractured tibia. When I first came in I was fully dependent on a wheelchair. I had not been weight bearing for the past 2 months. By the end of the second week with them I was walking with a walker and able to do stairs. By the fourth week was walking just with a cane! Everyone there was kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They pushed me just enough to see major progress each week, while making sure I was within my limits. I would definitely recommend Glastonbury PT and sports medicine center for those in need! Plus they are very close to the local Starbucks as an added benefit :)

I really look forward to my sessions at PTSMC of Glastonbury. Mike and Carlos are very knowledgeable, upbeat, and personable therapists. They have me do a wide variety of exercises to keep things interesting and I always feel great when I leave. The rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well, and the music mix is excellent! I highly recommend PTSMC.

Michael P. was excellent to work with! He gave me great exercises to help me recover after knee surgery. It was challenging but at the same time he was kind and gentle and funny and friendly. I definitely recommend him and this PT office!

Having never completed physical therapy before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was training for a half marathon and started to experience some hamstring pain and I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to run the race I had trained so hard for. With the help of Brian and the rest of the staff, I was able to run the half marathon and significantly improved my hamstring issues! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The facility is run very smoothly and has a wide range of different equipment that the therapists utilize. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to receive care here. I would highly recommend PTSMC of Glastonbury!

Recently received excellent care at the Glastonbury location. It was convenient to get to and the staff was friendly and efficient. I worked with Mike who was knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I would highly recommend this office and therapist. The best news is my back is feeling great!

Brian’s assistance has been life changing. We worked on both back/neck and balance issues to my relief and so, joy (after years of pain and working with several other professionals). I find the PT exercises personalized (not ex. the standard back protocol). I drive nearly an hour to come to this practitioner when I could go as close as 5 min from my home. Yup, satisfied.

Rebecca was my therapist, and did an excellent job addressing my issues with my neck and knee pain. She is a competent therapist who worked with me over the last few months to help my neck and knees become pain free and increased my strength. I have to say, the entire staff was very friendly and professional, and I highly recommend this Physical Therapy Center!

I recently had a disappointing experience at PTSMC following my shoulder surgery. My physical therapist, Michael Popolizio, was extremely inattentive. Each session, he spent about 10 minutes on his laptop, leaving me to perform the same exercises that I could have easily done at home. Michael rarely checked on my progress and consistently forgot where we left off, despite spending a third of the session on the computer. I attended therapy three times a week, but his lack of engagement made it feel like a waste of time and money. For anyone considering physical therapy, I highly recommend going to Select Physical Therapy across the street instead.
