Disappointed. Came to this clinic to get help with a herniated disc in my lower back. Kerri did my intake appointment and performed manipulations to align my hips. Later that evening I attempted a couple reps of one of the exercises assigned and stopped due to increased pain. The following day and since then, I have had radiating nerve pain in both legs, which I did not have for months prior to this appointment. Further, there is significantly more popping and cracking in my lower back since my visit. The staff were nice and were overwhelmed due to a provider calling out and they managed the situation as best they could.

First visit was exceptional, from the friendly and organized front desk staff to my PT provider John. John took plenty of time to both get to know my need, explain and demonstrate home therapy practices and answer any and all questions I had: a totally positive experience!

My wife has been in physical pain for months. She got a referral and waited months to get into this place to be seen. She is a first time mom and juggling a lot. She showed up for when she thought the appointment was to find out that she had mixed up her dates by one day they now won’t see her without being referred again and canceled all her future appointments without even letting her know nor did they call to let her know she had missed the appointment yesterday. Definitely could have been handled differently seeing that it was a mix up of dates by one day.

I have used this PT group twice now. The first time, it was an okay experience but that's been several years ago. More recently, I was referred to Tara for dry needling due to a groin strain I sustained that was completely taking over my life! Now, I'll be the first to admit, there was a 2 week wait to see Tara, but when I finally got in, it was well worth the wait and helped my injury like nothing else had up to that point! It really did make a believer out of me as far as the treatment of dry needling goes! The front desk staff are amazing and several times, I have been on a wait list and called to come in for an earlier appointment which I very much appreciated. The clinic as a whole runs on time and all the staff is professional and caring! I appreciate the reminder calls and help with scheduling appointments or changing dates and times if be. Tara is amazing and really seems to care about her patients. She explains the therapies in a way you can understand and I never feel rushed or forgotten. The practice of dry needling was new to me and requires a commitment in terms of going on a regular basis, but it has helped me so much and provided relief I didn't find at any other PT clinic or with any type of medication or exercise. All in all, I give this group-both therapists and staff-5 stars wholeheartedly! Those who are complaining need to take a long look at their commitment to their therapy and remember that if you don't do the work asked of you or make your appointments, you aren't going to improve or get better. Thank you Physical Therapy Specialty Center and Tara...because of you guys I finally have some relief and have gotten my busy life back!

I recently saw Kari after a fall. I was experiencing severe dizziness and nausea. After one visit and a very simple adjustment I was so much better! She was kind and professional and extremely helpful to my recovery. I highly recommend her! Thanks again Kari!

This was my first time working with Dorian at Physical Therapy Specialty Center and I am very pleased with my experience there. The staff is friendly and professional and Dorian knows his stuff. He is engaging, has good people skills and knew exactly how to treat my issue.

I always have a wonderful experience with this practice. The front desk personnel is fantastic- they will greet you with a smile and take good care of you. Physical therapist Laurel Sampson is absolutely amazing with her approach! She is genuinely tuned in to the patient’s needs. She is knowledgeable and she will do a great job explaining your condition. She is understanding and patient. Absolutely top quality specialist! I feel so fortunate to have her as a compassionate Partner in my healthcare needs. Thank you so much!

I, unfortunately, have a few persistent injuries that need the attention of a really good physical therapist. I make a three hour round-trip drive every week to go see Tara at this location, and the difference has been huge. I've gone from having to use crutches just to walk, to using a cane, to now not needing any assistive device at all. I've had the opportunity to work with a few of the other physical therapists here as well, and really recommend this facility. All the staff is very friendly, caring, and the PTs really know their stuff.
