I began treatment @ PTS with Amber after being diagnosed with sciatica, hip and back pain. After only 5 treatments, the worst pain was gone and the plan was tailored to add strengthening exercises, the elliptical and Shuttle and include balance workouts. I cannot express my gratitude to Amber enough for her patience, skill and gentle encouragement during this process. Highly recommend PTS and good to know "Once a patient, always a patient!" Simply put, Wesley Wedewer and his office were beyond welcoming and tailored a treatment plan to get me back to my hobbies and goals over the course of two different injuries, both requiring surgery. In my third year as a division 1 decathlete, after feeling lots of pain and discomfort with my sciatic nerve, I received the debilitating news that I would need back surgery to repair two ruptured discs in my spine. Surgeons and doctors expressed that I would likely never return to many of the physical activities I once enjoyed. About 3 months after surgery, I worked with Wes for about 12 weeks to get back into shape. Wes and I worked very hard each week, and he was very good about communication and adjusting our plan. With his help, I was back high jumping 6'5" and running 4.5 40's within four months of back surgery, and I have recently had my athletic scholarship reinstated by my coach in the event I should decide to return to athletics. Wes is a miracle worker and I couldn't express my gratitude for his help enough. I highly recommend PTS to anyone looking to truly take their rehabilitation needs to the next level.
