Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at Centeno-Schultz Clinic

After years of SI joint pain and several attempts at physical therapy and chiropractor visits, I felt defeated in my search for pain relief. After getting injections from Dr. Pitts and 4 PT treatments with Mark, I can for the first time enjoy trail running and other intense activities without feeling irritation in my normal problem areas. Mark is an extremely knowledgeable, and is a very effective teacher. He provides you the instruction necessary to rehabilitate yourself at home while also providing the option to be treated using his expertise in other areas of training such as dry needling and graston technique. This combination created a synergy so effective, that I was extremely pleased with the pace of my improvement. I was referred to the Centeno-Shultz clinic after battling lower back pain for almost a year as a result of bulging discs at L4-L5 and L5-S1 and unsuccessful treatment with steroid epidural injections and PT. I had platelet injections from Dr Hyzy and about 6-8 PT sessions with Mark before and after the procedure and am now back to full function and encouraged about my path forward. Mark is an excellent therapist and I would highly recommend him and the team at Centeno-Shultz for anyone that has not achieved good results with more "conventional" orthopedic treatment options (i.e. steriods).
