Physical Medicine of the Rockies (formerly Ascent Pain & Injury Specialists - Thornton)

Dr Shoemaker gave two injections in my lower spine. He followed up with me numerous times. I feel he really does care about how I am feeling & getting around. His office staff are so polite. They help me when I don't know how to send forms over the phone or my computer. They are polite when making appointments. It helps, in this day & age when people are so stressed out, to have someone take their time to be polite & make a person feel important. Thank you, Dr. Shoemaker & Staff!!

Dr Shoemaker is excellent. After having a different pain managment group for two years, I finally have a longterm plan. Orders test and procedures based on physical exam. He is very meticulous in performing any procedure. Only does what he need to do. Will be with Accent for a long time. Front staff members are also good. Helped me schedule a procedure in a short period of time so I didn't have to meet a new deductible

Dr. Shoemaker has shown me an incredible amount of compassion and care throughout my difficult case. Even after a rare diagnosis, he is providing support and guidance at a time when I need that the most. I am so grateful for Dr. Shoemaker and the staff at Ascent!

I wouldn't even have rated them a spec of a star! This place was awful! Dr Shoemaker was extremely uneducated and careless! I was told I had multiple sclerosis and did not have a work injury. My workmans comp claim was then therefore denied. What a terrible thing to tell someone! What is worse is that he is a liar. Of course I got the bill pushed on me when he completely disrespected me and wasted my time!

I have been very happy with the quality of care and genuine concern for my own well being and personal comfort that I have received from Ascent Medical. Dr. Bunker is an incredibly professional and courteous Chiropracter. From my first visit he has always made me feel “at home” when I am in his office. Dr. Cotgageorge is no exception to the quality of care I have received from Ascent Medical. The office staff are incredible too, they are very polite, timely and always answer the phone. I recommend Ascent Medical to anyone looking for quality medical care and friendly staff.

I was treated for neck pain with nerve blocks and rhizotomies by Dr Shoemaker. Doctor and staff were friendly, professional and compassionate.I was able to avoid a cervical fusion.

The worst staff and doctor ever especially Dr. Eric Shoemaker is not professional and doesn't treat patients with any respect. If recommended to go here ask to be change to a different physician. Customer service is the worst.

DON'T GO THERE!!!! Ever since they fired Ryan Mansholt - PA, that office and the remaining doctors (Shoemaker ESPECIALLY) have no heart for their patients. They are In the business of managing pain; this requires compassion and understanding and patience and the ability to actually care about their patients and their suffering. Pain Management is the management of pain to gain a better quality of life. No one should ever be in so much pain that they are unable to function. CO Pain Mgmt is a great office or if Lakewood isn't too far away you can try Rocky Mountain Pain Solutions; this just so happens to be where Ryan Mansholt PA is now practicing alongside of Dr.Brown, so far this is an incredible facility with their own lab, surgical rooms for shots in the back or other minor procedures such as stem trials, pain pumps, and others alike... JUST STAY AWAY FROM: ASCENT MEDICAL CONSULTANTS You've been warned!!!
