Phys Med Physical Therapy

Just had a horrible experience at this location before they even opened for business for the day. On March 28th 2024, as the place is about to open, I walk in the building and wait outside the office doors of the PT office because no one is at the receptionist desk. While waiting an elderly Hispanic man comes out and goes get in his vehicle as though he is about to leave . He then gets out of his vehicle goes backwards in into the physical therapy office and within earshot tell the staff that there's a guy outside and he doesn't think I belong here. I forgot to mention that I'm Black and I was dressed in my usual attire of athletic gear in a mostly black ensemble . I've been on Earth long enough and have a lived experience to know when I have been racially profiled, and trust me I was. The sad part was the staff didn't do enough on my behalf I believe admonishing this type of behavior into today's climate. I wish I didn't have to put this truth out there but to not do it is to keep condoning and advocating these racist ideologies that plagues our society .

I have had four physical therapy sessions here and they have been very helpful. My therapist, Damaris, always has a smile on her face. Most of the staff is bilingual, which is necessary for many of the clients. The staff is gentle and understanding of health concerns which might limit what exercises can be done on any given day. I'm being scheduled for additional visits and look forward to the help I will receive.

I have deltoid pain from spending too much time working at a keyboard, and the staff at this facility have been great. Between the TENS treatment, muscle-strengthening exercises, stretching, and massage, I have regained my range of motion and find myself pain-free. My schedule is hectic, so the flexibility they offer when I need to reschedule has been helpful.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I am so thankful my doctor referred me to them.

So far so good, clean location, helpful practitioners. Will be back.
