Penrose-St Francis Rehabilitation Services

Our family has had a fabulous experience with Penrose Saint Francis rehab hospital for victims of stroke. All of the nurses and aids and doctors and everyone involved have given the best care and compassion and hard work to getting our mother to the best place possible so she can come home. They have been patient and kind and loving and professional. We are so grateful to them and are very impressed by how much progress she makes each day! To see my mother take her first steps after I questioned whether she would even ever walk again at all, is an experience that I will never forget…The joy is unmeasurable as is the gratefulness. Because of this incredible team, our mother will be enjoying her chickens and children and neighbors and relatives and life again. Thank you to all of the amazing nurses, Teresa, Holly, Kristen, Wendy, Deb, Rachael, Sara, Donna, … would be impossible to list everyone involved in her care but please know that we are so grateful and you are making positive impact into lives of patients as well as the lives of their families. Just wonderful people all-around. Came in for a back injury, ended up learning how to sit, stand, sleep, and generally just move better. Learned how connected everything is. They took something that felt completely overwhelming, and changed it so I feel like I can truly influence my pain and the way I feel. Huge thanks to Danielle, Jennaya, the office staff, and everyone there. Everyone should do PT; if insurance made us all do it, I guarantee they would save millions.
