Pediatric Therapies of Southeast Georgia

My son has been going here for all 3 services. He has progressed so much in his movements, speech and social awareness. Christen is so patient and calm with him. He has just started his speech with Katie but she is the same patient, calm and both are welcoming to him.. you know something is right when a kid is happy to go to the back and comes out learning something new . He also had Nakia for PT she was awesome and he learned so much. I also want to speak on the awesome ladies up front they have been so kind and helpful with everything over this past year. Don't know all their names but thanks Grace for always sounding so light and positive .

My son has been going to PTSEGA Kingsland for 1.5 years and everyone is fantastic. He’s in ST, OT, and PT with Sara, Leslie, and Amanda. He also saw Alex for a couple months and she was awesome as well! The entire office goes above and beyond to make sure you have all the information to help your kiddo, and it truly feels like you’re part of a family. I can’t recommend them enough ❤️

My daughter has only been going to PTSEGA for about 5 months and when I tell you how much she has improved in such a short amount of time I mean it! Sara has turned my little two year old into a Genius. She went from hardly saying anything other than “DADA” to being able to name and identify tons of animals, can say and identify almost the whole alphabet, and even knows her basic colors of the rainbow! All of this just at two years old thanks to her wonderful teacher! My daughter can’t get enough of Sara and even sometimes gets upset when she sees Sara walking another student out😂! (She definitely loves Sara and needs all the attention) It definitely warms my heart that my daughter is well taken care of and loved during her appointments! I do need to shout out the rest of the Kingsland office for always being welcoming and giving my daughter even more love! Definitely recommend to anyone considering speech for their little ones!

Absolutely LOVE this therapy office!!! Sara, Josslyn, and Christen have helped my boy progress so much!! They’re all the sweetest and make sure I know what’s going on/his progress after every session! Also special shoutout to Grace she’s always friendly and all smiles ❤️

I cannot promote this place enough, my daughter has been coming for some time now. The improvements and the strides I have seen in her speech therapy with Sarah is phenomenal. She not only shows my child so much love and care but she also keeps me very in the loop and is super willing to work with your schedule if she can! My daughter also sees Jess for OT and has helped us so much. She is constantly letting us know what she observed and how to best help our daughter. I cannot promote them enough!

I took my almost 2 year old (22 months) here after our pediatrician sent in a referral to help with her speech. After 4 visits, evaluation and 3 actual visits I decided they weren’t for us. They had us going for 30 minute appointments once a week. Not once did my daughters therapist tell me her progress, where they evaluated her at, how to help her at home or anything at all. Each visit was basically a Hi/Bye situation. She would greet us, we go in and she’d play with our daughter and then when time was up she’d walk us out, give her a sticker and say she’d see us next time. The most I saw was her trying to teach her to sign “more”. At the last visit we had I asked her if they had enough time to get an evaluation and how we could help at home because clearly 30 minutes a week with a practical stranger wouldn’t make much of a difference. She gave us the evaluation and not much else that was helpful. So I went to my pediatrician the next day for a new referral to a different place and he even made a comment that he’s not sure why our insurance would refer us there because he wasn’t a fan of them himself. I waited until we got set up with a new therapist at a new location before submitting a review so I had more to go on. After an initial evaluation and one actual therapy session our daughters new therapist has evaluated her (same as this place did) and in just two visits she has decided to do two sessions a week, communicated with me on teaching me three signs she’s working on her with, encouraged my daughter to do the signs on her own by helping her sign, explaining how to encourage my daughter to use them at home and associate them with the meaning and was very communicative of where my daughter was on the scale of speech. After those two sessions and working with her at home I have seen signs of improvement and now have complete faith my daughter will start showing improvement on speech and communication.

I absolutely love our speech Therapist here!!! Mrs Tonya is the most patient and sweet person we've met! She's been the only one who has been able to connect with my daughter and one year has passed and my daughter has improved so much already! We are super thankful!!

If you are looking into getting speech and occupational therapy for your special needs child I would highly recommend avoiding this place we were referred almost 4 months ago for my son and everytime I have called for an update of why I haven't heard anything from them I get the excuse that they are waiting for therapist to become available I have never dealt with an organization so unprofessional
