Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

I am very thankful to Lindsay and the supporting staff at the Kennesaw Wellstar facility for their guidance and attention to my personal needs. I would recommend this therapists and facility to anyone.

It took me several months to write this review. I brought my daughter here for PT, OT and feeding therapy. While our PT and Feeding therapist were incredibly helpful and able to work with my daughter in positive ways, my review is based solely on our OT experience. The OT was consistently forceful with all interventions including keeping her in a high chair and pushing activities through tears and yelling. The OT pushed for me to not be in the room With them during session and I wouldn’t let that happen. After push back she said I could be in the room but told me I could not comfort my child during session so I terminated and found a better option for our family. I believe in keeping kids at their challenge point but I also believe in positive interventions and following the child’s. Needs. I suggest thinking twice before leaving your child unattended in a therapy session here. After describing our experience to other providers and parents in the community I found I was not alone with my concerns.

The PT stressed that I would need about 10-20 sessions. When I asked about the cost, the PT could not answer and referred me to the front desk staff. I asked them, and they said they did not know and I would be notified before the next visit. No word until I received the bill for over $2100, which equated to $300.00 per session. I am in financial hardship because profits were placed above patient care and connection. I wish someone would have let me know on the 1st or no later than the 2nd visit. I could join a high-end fitness club for 2 years for less than this bill per my insurance. Please be UPFRONT with patients so they will not suffer financially as I have.

My experience with Wellstar OrthoSport in Acworth was amazing! The PT program they have, help me to eliminate over 80% of my pain and discomfort. My home regiment should help me to improve on top of that. All the members were excellent, especially Kia and Kurt! Kurt went the "Extra Mile" and pushed me hard. That was tough at first, but the improvements came quickly and almost over night I was feeling much better. Strongly recommend Wellstar OrthoSport Acworth.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff got my shoulder working again. Wendy and Jessica put me through the wringer, but I knew it was worth it and my shoulder thanks them.

I highly recommend the Wellstar Orthosports on Acworth Due West. Much appreciation of the professional environment and the dedication by the team of physical therapists. Heather, my PT, is passionate and instrumental in my recovery from a bad fall.

So very thankful for Orthosport at barrett parkway. They fit my 2 year old in and went out of their way to get insurance approval. Tammy was so incredibly helpful with getting us on the schedules. My son Wyatt absolutely loved hawley and would beg to come "play" with her. They are so professional and caring. Definitely recommend 💕

I highly recommend Wellstar Ortho, the staff is very professional, ❤ caring, and friendly. My physical therapist, Kevin was the best I have ever had!
