Pecan Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

The weekend front desk lady Cruz is rude. I have witnessed on many occasions how she treats visitors & patients. She speaks to the patients disrespectfully. One interaction I had with her was when my family and I checked in she questioned us if we checked in after we said yes, we have she continued to state “everyone has to check in” while placing her hand on the arm of one of my family members. We continued to say yes, ma’am we have all checked in. She gave us a dirty look and repeated that we all had to check in. I responded again yes ma’am we have all checked in. To which I told her “you need to work on your people skills”. I truly dislike coming to visit on the weekends because I know she is the first person I have to deal with. For someone that enforces all visitors to wear the mask for the protection of the residents, she doesn’t even wear the mask correctly. 😡

This was Dad's second stay here. He's not happy he isn't home, but he is getting the physical and occupational therapy and assistance he needs to get back home. The facility is always clean and there are happy faces. Pecan Valley is close to home, so, I can take Mom everyday to visit. Wish I had names of some of his caregivers, because a few went above and beyond to help my Dad. Thank you!

All staff are pleasant greet you when you walk through door. Staff always tries to assist you if they can not will find someone who can. Residents are taken care of nurse managers do work floor to assist cna’s when needed. You do not see that in most buildings. Management always finding areas to improve to make facility better.

Pecan Valley is a welcoming home where the staff is very attentive to the needs of the residents. In addition, the employees go the extra mile to make each resident feel special and comfortable with their stay. The staffing person is awesome, too. And I love her smile.

The staff at Pecan Valley Rehabilitation are excellent. They took great care with my loved one. They trested him like family.

Rooms Always clean. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and alert. We celebrated our mother’s 99th birthday. It was so awesome. Wh have been Blessed having our mother at Pecan Valley Rehab.

I can honestly say that I don't know where I would be at this moment without my great therapist Jackie and Haley from physical therapy and occupational therapy. I've Never have been to a rehabilitation center They really showed me how to put in hard work and how to not give up on myself even on the hardest of days. This place is full with great therapists that bring great vibes which I really needed on a daily basis. I never thought that therapy could be fun and that I would look forward to going.

The pecan valley rehabilitation and healthcare center is a five star location for family members looking to place a member of their family post surgery Hospital stay the staff members from the highest position to the lowest are very professional always willing to help when they can even when they're busy might stay there couldn't have been any better I was having issues with my insurance pecan valley was the 14th location I requested to go to and was finally approved by insurance and that was the best place I think that I could have gone to I'm glad they did night every other place that I requested cuz most of the other places are new the facilities were having been around for too long and hearing and seeing with my own eyes several of the places for rehabilitation were poorly ran and staff members were not nowhere professional my mother was at those locations and would wait sometimes hours to be changed cause had an accident in bed she fell trying to get to the restroom cuz no one would come help her and couldn't wait no longer these places I will name cuz they are terrible one of them is Sorrento location on Babcock ignite is another one I'm speaking on the rehabilitation part I don't know about residential permanent placement my mother went in needing rehab and came out no different that she went in pecan valley in my book is the best place to go to get yourself better or get your family member the treatment they need on the road to physical recovery again I can't say enough about the staff members very professional don't let the pictures fool you I'm telling you from experience it's worth the stay for your family when I got there I saw the building was a little bit older was even a little upset but told myself looks ain't everything and I was right I thank God that I gave it a chance I had neck surgery on my spinal cord a surgery that takes months to recover from and going to pecan valley gave me a huge boost and Head start on getting better but this is my opinion from my experience the rehabilitation department a separate from the residential I only speak on that department that hallway is specifically for rehabbing post Hospital stay so to any nurses doctors supervisors anyone employed there you guys all deserve raises and a bigger board up front with employee of the week month year . Thank you all for everything you guys did for me all the help y'all gave me every time y'all saw me walking with my Walker around the nurses station never gave me trouble never suspected me of breaking any rules or policies always greeted me with a smile and a nice encouraging statement or remark my mother is waiting to go there and I can't wait to get back to see you guys five stars not only to pecan valley rehabilitation center but five stars to every person who works there keep up the good job guys God bless you. Melissa, Sarah, Jennifer and my morning nurses to many to name and my PM nurses same thing my CNA's who never let me go hungry especially at nights thank you all but the three I just mentioned you guys made my stay there like a mini vacation with a little pain of course.
