I have visited Patient First four or five times. I must say I am very impressed with this urgent care treatment center. The premises are extremely clean. All the staff from the receptionist to the nurses to the physicians are very friendly, knowledgeable and patient oriented. The staff immediately recognized my anxiety and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Their genuine concern and empathy for their patients are quite evident. If anyone has a similar problem like my “white coat” syndrome, this medical facility is very understanding, comforting and helpful. I highly recommend this treatment center— they have exceptional bedside manners and a genuine concern for their patients.

This was by far, the WORST experience ever at an urgent care. I had been to Patient 1st previously and never had a problem. My grandmother drove me there due to food poisoning and asthma, she told me they just send people to hospital everytime. I said that never happened to me. I got there, paid cash, they took 3 vials of blood, charged me for it, and WOULD NOT give me an inhaler or medicine for the food poisoning. These are minor issues, and I paid CASH, and was PUT OUT, after they TOOk MY MONEY. Will never go again and will tell others the same. There is a new physicians asst and staff and a friend told me they do that all the time now. They are no good for that. They should be ashamed taking peoples money and not treating them. God bless.

The receptionist was amazing. My nurse Kaitlyn was absolutely wonderful. Very communicative and friendly and you can tell she cares for her patients. Physician was my saving grace. He gave me all the answers I’ve been looking for for months! Something my PCP was not able to do. Best experience at an urgent care I ever had!!!!!

Was very impressed with the kindness of all 5 staff members we interacted with. I've already recommended for a family member to check out Patient First for their care needs.

I was VERY pleased with how nice everyone was and how they listened. I understand medical facilities get busy and want to make sure everyone is seen but some places are just so rude and uncaring or worse as a woman tell you "lose weight, it's your period, it's anxiety" literally none of that happened here. They were SO fast but the care was TOP NOTCH. I was in an out in less than an hour. This included EKG, Xray, medicine and a filled prescription. I was listened to and taken seriously and as an added bonus they all talked to build rapport and not just medical this medical that seeing a Dr for chest pain is scary and those types of conversations distract you from the fear and or awkwardness of silence while being seen. They have such a well oiled operation that I literally have told 4 people about it already and I was just seen 3 hours ago. Absolutely amazing I hope it never changes.

It was a very good experience. The staff were very friendly! I was taken care of quickly and efficiently! I like that Patient First staff will do tests right on the premises and you get your results right away! I love that! It’s nice to have another option when my doctor has no available appointments! Thank you to the staff of Patient First for taking care of me! You did a great job!!! Lydia Santiago

I went to Patient First because I was having an allergic reaction, but I wasn’t sure if it was severe enough to warrant administering the epi-pen. Often times reactions can be delayed, or they get can progressively worse over a few hours so once I had contact with the allergen and started developing symptoms, I came to Patient First to see what they thought I should do. I get there and I check in on the tablet but tell the receptionist why I’m here because I wanted to be seen as quickly as possible as I was nervous about my reaction escalating to something more dangerous. She saw me right away and was very nice, but then I had to fill out a lot of paperwork before being sent back with the nurse. The nurse was nice, but seemed to have no idea why I was here. I was getting my height and weight checked, blood pressure, etc. i know this is routine and they are trying to do their jobs, but when a patient comes in worried about having an anaphylactic reaction, it would be nice if it was addressed by the medical staff immediately. I was then put into a room and waited about ten minutes for a doctor all alone. When the provider entered the room, he asked me a couple questions about previous medications I’ve been on and some small talk questions before asking me why I was here today. I was surprised that he didn’t already know, as I had told the receptionist in a little bit of panic why I was here and why I was worried. I had my first ever allergic reaction last December which was only a matter of cross contamination with the allergen, and that caused things like a rash, cough, vomiting, etc. Last night was the first time I’ve actually consumed my major allergen so I had concerns it may be even worse. I felt like my situation should have been handled more promptly and with more care. The provider told me he thought I was fine and if anything bad were to happen it would have happened already (it had been about an hour and ten minutes since I consumed the allergen). I said ok, and let him know about my previous reaction and how I showed no real serious symptoms until over an hour after I’d eaten, because I didn’t know if that made a difference. He barely acknowledged that fact, told me I was fine, and gave me some medicine. He was nice enough but it did not feel like the staff was taking my concerns seriously and I was not promptly examined upon arrival even though I am anaphylactic to nuts. I do not think I would return to this location if I had any even remotely serious medical concerns.

I called the patient first office to request a doctor slip since I can't bear weight on my leg. Nurse advised that a doctor slip would be at the front desk. I asked her could my husband pick it up. She said yes since his name is listed in the computer. Once he got there the person at the front name Linda told him he couldn't get it cause I didn't have a release in the computer. I told her that no one told me about a release for a doctors note. My husband left with a release of information. I called back to speak to the nurse. Jessica told me to hold on and I heard Linda in the background say put her on hold I will take it. I asked for the nurse not Linda. She answered and said can I help you I said what is considered Hippa in a doctors note other than my name, Linda stated " I am busy good bye and hung up". This female is so rude, disrespectful and needs more training. She chose to work with the public but she doesn't have the correct personality to be in anybody front office answering phones. She is a bad image for Patient First and I am going to take my compliant to someone who can look into this situation. I am a patient, a woman, a nurse and mostly I know how to treat people.
