UPDATE my rating was based on Brita continuing to provide therapy BRITA has been exited so when reading this review take note please. Shocked as she was the best therapist I have had in Approx. 15 years at different PTs. She is a single mom with 4 kids trying to balance work and her job. Really shocked and now considering my options for 2020. Ihave been referred to Patane a number of times over the past few years , most recently for leg and back issues and I just realized I never took the time to recognize all of the staff for their kindness over the years taking care of my various issues and working with the insurance companies who can be very difficult to deal with. I know the Office Manager and therapist spend time getting this all approved. I’d like to especially thanks my current therapist Brita who has been patiently working on my knee and back issues for several months off and on . And lately it’s my plantar fasciitis. She took over my case when my insurance Cigna became difficult on who was allowed to provide therapy. So she is qualified and I found out the only qualified therapist to provide dry needling. Regardless of how busy she is, never fails to greet you cheerfully, checks to see how you are feeling and listens to any specific issues and works on them. She provided tips for homework and very easy finish instructions for exercises. Also no matter how busy she watches each of her patients and makes sure exercises are being done properly and heat and ice are provided. And never fails to say goodbye . I definitely leave better than when I arrive I can definitely recommend this facility and Brita in particular. Located in Reston off of Fox Mill. Very convenient parking. New staff at the facility. Just a heads up if you are with Cigna which seems to be the worst insurance to work with especially ASH who handles PT. Be prepared to be involved or your HR department as they will quickly provide less visits or challenge or or in my case tell PT they can’t allow more than 1 issue at a time and that’s what I was told until I personally had my HR department challenge Cigna who claimed they never gave that policy to Patane . So be prepared to intervene if you want more visits and do not rely alone in Patane ( not complaining just matter of fact) as they are really busy and I’m not sure how much time they have to deal with anyone individual case.

I am almost completing my physiotherapy sessions with Steve. Feeling a lot better with my knees already. He is amazing. Very professional, dedicated and kind and understanding. I highly recommend this facility for your physiotherapy needs. His front desk help, Katie is also amazing lady who is very friendly and helpful!

I had my ankle rehabbed from tarsal tunnel surgery from Steve Patane (the Owner). Steve is a fantastic therapist, he has many techniques and tools he uses; also he is extremely vested in your recovery on a personal level. He is really hands on with your injury, every appointment, instead of just showing you exercises which I appreciate. Very clean facility with plenty of space and administrative help for bookings and cleaning. I would definitely recommend him, I have a friend who had a great experience with Steve also.

Super happy here! Everyone (admin and therapists) have been great. Really relaxed environment and super easy to schedule. They are very flexible. Lois Blush, PT, has been terrific! Very supportive and teaching me a lot about how to take care of my body a step at a time. Easy to get to and great parking. Would definitely recommend.

I have been seeing Steve @ Patane & Associates for nearly 6 months to fix back issues. Great service and great environment! Steve is down-to-earth, positive, and his expertise, professionalism, work ethics and agreeable demeanor are outstanding! I highly recommend! Bonus points as well for supporting a locally-owned business.

Physical therapy service is adequate, though sometimes uninspired. Steve, the primary therapist is knowledgeable, but in my experience, the office staff was not always welcoming.

Patane and Assoc worked on my shoulder and back a couple years ago. Did not receive personal attention. Patane would sometimes work on 5 patients at the same time. I felt like a number. Worse yet, I got a rash shaped like a ring on my face from the doughnut used . Most places cover it in plastic for each new patient. Patane sprayed it with something. It cost me several hundreds of dollars to be treated by a dermatologist. Further, they did not inform me of insurance coverage in a timely manner.

Positive, energized atmosphere. Therapists have answers to every question we could come up with. Kind, helpful support staff as well.
