Parkville Care Center

My father was a patient at Parkville, Let me start by saying the place is disgusting it’s more like a nursing home for the insane. I’ve never walked into a nursing home where patients are in and out of patients room, music blasting. You got the nurses who don’t have any personality, don’t acknowledge the family, the food they serve is absolutely disgusting it looks like road kill.. The breakfast every morning is the same thing. My father has had money stolen from him in the facility which staff said they will investigate and get back to me. They never did. My dad’s wounds they said was 90% cleared up. Which was a lie he ended up back in the hospital. The hospital agreed his wasn’t getting the proper care as well as we called the health department on this facility. They went out personally and spoke with my father. This facility is awful they can say what they want. This place is ghetto unprofessional and disgusting..

My brother died in that place. The care wasn't that good. Always short staffed. He was often not changed and cleaned up in a timely manner. I had to be there for them to do their jobs. Some of the staff was ok, but some not so much. He couldn't walk, the physical therapy was good. The care was terrible. There is definitely a whole lot of room for major improvement.

Very unprofessional, terrible smell all though out the facility and needs to be cleaned. Social worker needs to be more compassionate to family needs and return calls. Difficult to get in touch with loved ones because they do not answer the phones. CNA needs better training how clean patients and how to communicate with family.

My grandmother nereida is here currently . I really hope staff is attentive to her. So far checking in yesterday was great and a problem was solved quickly where she was able to be moved to a quiet room. and everyone was helpful.

The financial lady continues to contact me from a cell phone not the business number. She is nasty and makes threatening statements. She has never been consistent with any statements. Looking for help but leaning toward filing a complaint with a lawyer because no one should feel threatened.

Everyone, listen to me. This place is the worst of the worst. From the top to the bottom...Dirty, disgusting, repulsive, revolting, heartless. Don't let them fool you with their smile or they show you they care for your love ones. It is all a show!!! They leave the urinal on top on the table where patient eats. The floor is dirty and sticky. TV does not work at all and when they come over to fix it, there are two local stations where are bad reception. Nurses, nurse's aide busy talking at their station when patient called for help. Rehab staff stated that they given PT/OT everyday of the week.... It is all a lie. Social worker hiding in their office and won't answer your phone calls. I so much to tell about how much I hate this place. Unfortunately, google review has word limitation. Check this place in person before send your love ones there. The state and insurance companies should investigate this place. I like the media comes to this place to show the public.

There’s a couple of good nurses that work here. However, certain people such as the doctor and George Kingston the administrator don’t have no empathy. You talk to them and it’s like they don’t care about there people just their paychecks. This facility could use more structure, cleaning , updates and more staff.

My cousin, son and myself went to visit my father for the first time on Sun at Parkville Care Center. The staff from front desk personnel, to nursing, were attentive and respectful. The place was surprisingly well maintained and my father didn’t complain once about staff care. My father can be a handful with his mouth, so the fact that he had nothing negative to say about the facility says a lot. I understand it was only one visit, actually on my way there now, first impression was a good one, Keep up the good care, not an easy task. Thanks, FB
