I am an avid runner and triathlete, and I aim to complete one long endurance event each year. This past year, I experienced knee pain while running, and, like many endurance athletes, I used KT tape and Biofreeze gel to alleviate my symptoms. However, in the spring, the pain became more severe, leading me to consult the surgeons at Panorama Orthopedics. I met with Dr. Joshua Shapiro, who diagnosed me with significant arthritis in my left knee. He discussed various treatment options with me, and I appreciated his thoroughness in addressing all my questions. He even encouraged me to go enjoy a hiking trip on the Camino Trail in Spain that was scheduled two weeks before my surgery. I felt confident in his abilities after he reached out to me two days before my surgery to reassure me. The surgery went well; I only needed prescription pain medication for a day and a half, after which I managed the pain with Tylenol and aspirin. I am thankful to have found Dr. Shapiro and look forward to returning to running thanks to his skilled work. Dr. Shapiro is a great option for those who lead an active lifestyle and are experiencing pain, as he can assist them in returning to their usual activities.

Dr. Ron Hugate performed my knee replacement. My recovery has been successful. After six weeks I am very happy with my progress. I believe the reason is Dr. Hugate’s expertise and talent. It was a pleasure working with Dr. Hugate as well. His demeanor is pleasant and instilled confidence throughout my experience.

Excellent care. The doctor was able to identify and recommend a conservative course of treatment in one visit. I started the therapy and see a improvement already. Hopefully this will provide enough relief to eliminate surgery. If not, I feel complete confidence in Dr Thomas ability to repair the damage to my knees.

Truly disappointed in the service I received today. Front desk, staff never checked us in and made us wait an hour and a fifteen minutes before determining that they did not input us in the system. This is frustrating, especially in light of the fact that we spoke with the front staff two times and asked if the doctor is running on time. The person told us we were next even though they never checked us in. Apparently patient’s time is not important at this clinic. They clearly need to also train their staff.

I had 2 total knee replacements this year with Dr. Shapiro. He is kind, skilled, caring and a wonderful surgeon! I am so glad I was able to find him. I had to see a few surgeon’s that will never hold a candle to Dr. Shapiro and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro and will be forever grateful! Thank You!

From the time I made my first appointment, until my last visit, the entire team was incredible. Dr. VanderHeiden was very easy to deal with and very thorough with his explanations. I felt very at ease. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Panorama Orthopedics.

In search for a new foot specialist, I was referred to Dr. Roger Murken. I was very impressed by his skillful thoughts, his ease of sharing, and his respect of my knowledge. He is evaluation brought a new solution to my pain. This was very pleasing as there had been no new solutions for years. I am hopeful that we will be able to move forward soon. With one visit, Dr. Murken was able to instill a deep sense of trust.

This was my third follow-up for the same concerns, but first time with this doctor. After waiting for an hour in the waiting room, because they are short handed, I waited longer in the patient room. The doctor was cold and impersonal telling me I need another appointment with someone else. It has been over 30 days since my first appointment for my back pain. I asked if I could get a prescription for muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories, but the doctor said he couldn't issue me a prescription. I was also told to get my prior records because they can't do that. This is not my first experience with this facility, nor my first bad experience. I do not recommend Panorama.
