Pamela A. Downey, PT

Dr. Pam Downey is a tremendous doctor who is very knowledgeable in the area of pelvic floor, Levator Síndrome and physical therapy. She is very bright, very concerned about her patients and based on my experience she goes way beyond in helping her patients. I was her patient for more than three years and I must say that she helped get completely rehabilitated after many years with Levator Ani Síndrome. I thank her from the bottom of my heart from Gerardo Larrea French.

Dr. Downey is by far one of the best (if not THE best) provider of pelvic physical therapy in Miami. Seeking therapy for the pelvic region can feel daunting, however you will immediately feel at ease and well taken care of upon beginning this form of therapy with her! Dr. Downey's extensive knowledge, experience, and wonderful interpersonal skills make for an environment of comfort and success. I believe one of the things I found most effective in Dr. Downey's treatment was her constant medical explanations for everything she was doing during each session--she would discuss the anatomical structures she was working on, their role in the pathology, and what she was doing in that very moment to address them. This helped me visualize what she was doing--I strongly believe that having that mental component present in one's own healing process makes for an even more successful outcome. Plus, you feel added confidence when a Dr. is able to explain to you what is happening in a way that you can understand!! Leni, the other PT there, is also excellent and follows suit in her transparent, supportive approach to therapy. Susan, the client services rep, is efficient, thorough and warm when it comes to anything related to your experience in the office. I should also mention that during these precarious and uncertain times, I felt completely safe in the office with all of the precautions they are currently taking to mitigate any possible spread of COVID-19. Dr. Downey is THE person to see for the best possible pelvic care in Miami!!!

Pamela Downey of Partnership in Therapy is the best provider in Miami of pelvic physical therapy, in my opinion. Also, excellent physical therapy for back and spine. The practice also offers Pilates sessions for those with injuries. Compassionate people, nice office, and good location.

It’s hard to put into words how much seeing Pamela Downey improved my life. I was referred to her at a time when I was having immense pelvic pain and up until that point had a very hard time finding someone who could help. If you are experiencing something similar, GO SEE PAM. I thought I was stuck with that pain forever but working with Pam, I’m now pain free! She is incredibly knowledgeable and approaches the issue from all angles. She works with you to put all the puzzle pieces together to make you feel whole again. She makes you feel so comfortable and it’s the perfect healing environment. I have to give a shout out to Leni too who is a master with soft tissue work!! I can’t say enough good things about Partnership in Therapy. They changed my life and I’m eternally grateful!
