PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake

I was there for just under a week and for the most part I was very pleased with my stay there. All the staff.from the therapists to nursing to food service and environmental were wonderful and kind. Dr. Rosenblatt and his team were great. My only issues were as follows: on admission I had pretty severe weakness in my left arm and hand. Some of the meals included items that needed cutting-and with plastic utensils! Nobody ever asked if I needed any assistance with that task so I wound up not eating a lot. The other issue was bathing. As a nurse when I worked the floors we would go to each patient every morning and for those who were incapacitated at all, we would bring a basin of warm water, wash cloths soap and towels and assist them if needed to clean up No one ever even asked me if I would like help “freshening” up and forget about oral hygiene. As I got stronger I was able to use my walker and would use paper towels to clean myself and a friend provided me w toothpaste and brush. On my fourth day there as part of my OT evaluation I was able to shower and wash my hair and a couple of days later I again had a shower. I did discuss this with my patient advocate-Joe-who also was great and he said something I guess to the nursing director because on my last day there one of the aides asked if I wanted to shower but whoever he spoke to never followed up with me on it, which in my experience was something that should have been done. As I said, though, otherwise the staff were all stellar and I’d go there again if need be although I pray that I won’t have to.

PAM staff was amazing from admitting to discharge. Their PT/OT is fantastic. So please with the outcome of this facility and would recommend it to anyone needing therapy. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL!!

PAM south has been the most excellent rehab experience I’ve ever had. Everyone is polite and helpful during your stay. Nursing was fabulous all of night shift and a special thank you to Jose and Reniyah. Therapy is wonderful, Carolina, Vanessa, and Sammie did a good job getting me stronger. The food was excellent and delivered with a smile. The room and whole hospital is clean and cheery. Thanks again to all I will always recommended this hospital for the very best.

PAM South has provided the best rehab care I could've asked for. From the therapists especially Beth and Elise. thanks to all the nurses, Amanda and Liza, and the housekeeping crew everybody has kept my room looking great. Night shift nursing and techs are incredible, always quick to respond to call lights. Thanks to Desiree from case management for helping me get setup with all my equipment after my inpatient stay.

Everybody at PAM south has done an exceptional job during my inpatient rehab stay. Thank you Kaylyn with speech, she did an excellent job getting me where I need to be. Thanks to all my therapists, Angie and Ashley did a great job with pt and ot. They push you to get stronger and always make therapy a good time. Ashlyn with respiratory was always kind and helpful. Thank you nursing, Deanne is excellent all the techs too. The food was always tasty and delivered with a smile by wonderful staff. Thanks for making my stay so great, I will always recommend Pam south for the best experience with rehab.

PAM South is the best rehab. All employees will go out of their way to help no matter what you need. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and kind. I’ve been here four times and always receive the best rehab care. Thanks to Hannah with PT, Kim with nursing and everyone else who helped with my stay. All the nurses and aides are great too. The staff was wonderful. Kenny was a wonderful PT, Doretha was the best tech and Jade especially helped me with my speech following my accident. Loved my stay.

Everything at Pam South was excellent. Across the board everyone helps out and is kind, patient, and helpful. Call lights are always answered quickly, the nurses and techs are so sweet. The therapists did a great job getting me stronger everyday with their huge hearts and amazing attitudes. Jade(speech) and Angie(physical therapy) were truly amazing. Thank you ladies for everything!
