I had my knee replaced. Stanford gave me several places to go. I found this place and decided to have them bring me here. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly. I couldn't find a better place. The nurses were very professional. The cleaning staff always had a smile. I like the food. It just needs more fruit. The therapists know how to do their job. They all have a good attitude. If you asked me if I would come back here again, I'm still recovering now. I wouldn't want to leave, but I thank you all for taking care of us all. It's not easy, but here there is the best. People

I recently had my right hip replaced at Sequoia hospital in Redwood City. I was then transferred to the Palo Alto Sub-Acute skilled nursing facility where I have been a patient for 4 nights. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I feel so much better now than I did when I arrived, and it is all because of the excellent care I have received. All of the staff members I have met are caring, competent healthcare professionals. They are well trained and well managed and I simply love the care and treatment I have received. If you or a family member is in need of care in a skilled nursing facility, I highly recommend Palo Alto Sub-Acute.

I was very skeptical about bringing my father here after reading some reviews that wasn’t very pleasant. After his recovery at Palo Alto, I wanted to write my review and share that the team is not only amazing but caring and communicative. The team was truly spectacular and I could not be more grateful for the care the CNAs and Nurses provided for my father. I was so nervous about bringing my father home but the discharge team made the discharge smooth by ordering and setting up everything we needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The therapy is great, amazing. A very kind and caring therapy crew. They cheer allot. The wound care is awesome and amazing. They had me all fixed up so well and quick. They didn't wake me up to get me or my caregiver or my mom ready for me until it was time to go. I needed more time and notice for me to get help at home. But we made it okay anyway. The discharge girl Alyssa was wonderful. I liked the place.

Horrible conditions. Dilapidated building surroundings. rotten wooe in the framing, if indeed for physical rehabilitation there would not be over 2 in gaps in each segmentation of the concrete, obviously not condusive for someone using a walker, cane even wheel chair not to mention those just capable of limited walking...a trip away..no climate control. over inundated power strips for the abundant need of cooling using fans every few feet and even with all, ALL doors ALL windows (security much?) open staff themselves are drenched in swear, making not such a cohesive environment but uncomfortable one anger, uncomfortable, packed in like sardines 3 to a room. no rules, regulations, just those stuck with sctreaming yelling patients all night. no sleep for anyone. it is, sad to use the term, a terrible terrible "old folks home" which with the heat exacerbates the overwhelming rancid smell of urine among other aromatic odors. Breakfast for example a....a scrambled egg, piece of bacon, a piece of toast a glass of juice. Try getting your Dr. prescribed meds...the difficulties and yet you're there to get better think again. This is not a phys rehab....this is the end. Disgusting

My grandmother is 86y/o and was at Stanford Hospital in the beginning of February due to a stroke and it was a really hard decision for us to transfer her to a nursing facility. We were suggested to tour this facility... do not judge this place by its looks! They have a great team here, Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and overall care and attention with patients is unmatched! She was discharged a week ago and still talks about Isaac from activities, Courtney from rehab, and her favorite CNAs Noel and Elvira. Thank you so much Palo Alto team! Highly recommended this facility for your loved one to feel at home doing their recovery.

I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional support we received from the social worker, Francis. His communication and kindness were truly remarkable during a challenging time when my grandma was diagnosed with Dementia and suffered a fractured hip. Francis guided us through the process, ensuring my grandma received the care she needed. He even connected us with resources for continued assistance after her discharge. I'm impressed by the outstanding physical and occupational therapy services at Palo Alto Sub-Acute. Thanks to their care, my grandma was back on her feet within just a month and a half. I can't thank Francis and the team at Palo Alto Sub-Acute enough for their invaluable help.
