Pain Relief Solutions

I went in for L5, S1 bilateral pain injections with a pain level of 8. I received 6 injections and left with a pain level of 3. By the time the got home 45 minutes later my pain level was down to a 1. It has been 2 weeks and I am still at a pain level of 1. I’ve had lower back pain for over 20 years. I feel like I’m 15 years old again. Thank you Dr. Zach Cohen for your patience and making me feel at ease during the procedure. I totally recommend Pain Relief Solutions if you have chronic pain.

"Terrible Solutions" to say the least. The PA was so insensitive and told me "how I felt pain wise". Everything pain wise for me well documented but just wanted me to come in once a week for injections which is how they make a killing. Also, he said he was calling in prescription, waited and nothing came. Called office, said they would call me back shortly but never did so I stopped going.

UPDATE: THE El Cajon Pain Relief Solutions is by far the least caring staff I've encountered in my 70 years as a patient and a medical social workerI call them repeatedly for appointment, meds but can't ever get answered on the phone. No voice mails.Very unprofessional & frustrating. I'm looking for another pain clinic. patient for one year.Dr Cohen's 10 min evaluation was right on. My provider Rob is great too. However for the 2nd time the meds called in for me are incorrect, forcing me to call and call until they get it right. I understand that finding competent workers is difficult right now, but some kind of quality control is needed. It's unfortunate that incompetent (sometimes rude/hostile) staff don't reflect the professionalism of the MD's , P.A.'s and N.P.'s working there.

I have been going to a his place for two years now , and very satisfied with Dr. Cohen and Dr. Fisher, and also the Staffs are very polite and calls me to keep me updated with what I should do prior to the procedure, the front desk Melinda is very nice and helpful, with my appointments,

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was referred to Dr. Cohen's office by my insurance company. Each time I called to make an appointment, there was either no answer or I was placed on hold for several minutes, only to be disconnected. The two times I got through, Megan, the operator, gave me the complete run around about not having my correct insurance information. After several calls back and forth to my insurance company with the response "we faxed the information several times", Megan finally says, " I really only need your name and DOB and I can schedule you". This back and forth took 2 weeks. I made the long drive to the El Cajon office and arrived on time. I go to the receptionist desk and she says, "Oh, you have Tricare insurance. I was going to call you, the doctor is going home sick." When were you going to call me? You had plenty of time to call before I arrived for my appointment. I told her I had taken the day off for this appointment, which took me 2 weeks to schedule. She again say's "he's going home sick." She referred me to offices all the way in either Poway or Escondido. Keep in mind that I'm driving from Chula Vista. I remained calm and walked out. That same day, I found a clinic that I absolutely love. The staff and doctor's are professional, friendly, and know the importance of how to treat new patients, and yes, I told them about my experience at Dr. Cohen's office.THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD FROM a DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND STAFF. DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH DR. COHEN OR ANY MEMBER OF THE STAFF AT PAIN RELIEF SOLUTIONS.

I saw Dr. Cohen here for temporary help with my shattered shoulder as I awaited replacement surgery. He is kind, caring, and he listens. My review is for him only, as I have had less than a stellar experience at another of their locations.

Is everyone out sick today? I've been calling their phone number since 8am and no answer ..please answer the phone ....the appointments /receptionist isn't answering...

I have been to see Dr Cohen and his staff several times over the last a year or so. I feel very fortunate that I was referred here. I have never left here feeling unheard. Everyone is so nice and so professional.
