Dr. Norman E. McCoomer at Pain & Rehabilitation Consultants delivered exceptional, patient-centered care. He conducted thorough evaluations, including multiple tests, to ensure the most effective treatment plan. He demonstrated professionalism and approachability, taking the time to clearly explain the procedure and its benefits. His attention to detail not only addressed my primary issue but also uncovered an additional concern, for which he promptly provided a solution. Following the procedure, my pain decreased significantly—from a 10 to a 2—exceeding the results I achieved through prior physical therapy. His staff members were kind and efficient in reminding me of upcoming appointments and payments. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. McCoomer for his expertise, and genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.

I've been to many Dr.'s in my life and have never had a dr who has actually cared and listened like Dr. McCoomer has. You can actually talk to him in a professional manner and a personal manner without worrying about being judged. Iwent from being absolutely miserable in pain to doing anything I want now without any narcotics. If you SERIOUSLY want relief and to change your life then Dr. McCoomer is an easy choice!!

I have been going here for several years. The level of care I recieve from Dr Mccoomer and his staff has made my quality of life so much better. He listens to what you have to say and develops a multi-approach plan that is personalized to you and your needs. I'm so thankful for he and his staff, and would recommend him for anyone that is really suffering from chronic pain.

I have been going to Pain and Rehab for around 3 years and I'm doing 90% better than when I started. I am able to do a lot more without being in pain. They have done a great job helping me. My quality of life has improved.

I have been a patient of Dr McCoomer for 6 months. He is a professional and caring physician. He provides excellent care, and he truly listens to his patients. He sits down with you and really pays attention to what you have to say about your pain. He provides you with a pain management plan to help reduce your pain. The office staff is great, the wait time is minimal, and his nurses are kind and caring. I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Mccoomer.

I moved here from California and I have Systemic Scleroderma. I needed to find a new pain doctor and called the office and sent all of my records from 8 years at UCLA. I never heard back, today they told me the doctor didn’t want a patient with “chronic, terminal” pain. This is a doctor that only cares about money, he doesn’t care if you’re in pain. If you’re terminal find someone who actually cares about people. It should be illegal to call yourself a “pain doctor” and not see someone living with chronic pain, not to mention not calling me back to let me know you won’t take me so I can begin the process again. Shame on you and your messed up ethics.

The lack of professionalism of this office is simply shocking. I received treatment with Pain and Rehabilitation for several months, ending in September of 2022. Flash forward to August 2023, where I receive notification that Pain and Rehabilitation has turned over my account to a collections agency. This is despite the following: - As active duty military, my visits are 100% covered by Tricare insurance. - The only charge I ever incurred out of pocket was a fee for a missed appointment that I paid and have the charge statement to prove - At no point in time from September 2022 to August 2023 did Pain and Rehabilitation attempt to contact be by phone or mail. Not a single time. While this may seem to be a simply mistake, an inability to maintain proper accounting or turning over an account for collection in error is, at best negligent, and at worst criminal. Such poor record keeping can inflict damage on an unsuspecting person's credit and cause completely unneeded stress. Be very aware of seeking treatment with Pain and Rehabilitation and I highly encourage you to maintain excellent financial records.
