Pain Management Specialists

One of the most unprofessional experiences with a physician that I’ve ever had in my life. Severe back pain and doctor Kuang saw me once in person and then two more times via TeleMed. I also received two injections from him, which didn’t help at all. That’s not his fault I guess, but when I called to ask about the next step for my pain, because the medication I was on wasn’t working, I could not get a callback from his office manager or him. I left six messages over a period of a weeks time and every time I talked to one of the staff, they told me they left messages for the office manager and the doctor and that’s all they could do. They apologized profusely and I’m pretty sure they have to do that a lot because the doctor just doesn’t care enough to call his patients. The office staff was actually pretty nice to me and I could tell they had empathy for me and they felt bad because the doctor that is supposed to help patients with pain would not call his patients back. Finally on the sixth business day after leaving all my messages, I got a call from someone who said the doctor told her to call me and tell me that he would not discuss anything with me until my next appointment with him which was weeks away, and also would be after my pain medication ran out completely. In every message I left, I explained the urgency and how much pain I was in, but not once did I use foul language, yell or say anything except how much pain I was in. Yet after my last call to his office Dr. Kuang had the audacity to send me a letter telling me I was being discharged because of my unprofessionalism. I have no clue what he’s talking about but he really should not be allowed to practice pain management. He is horrible at it. I would advise anyone seeking truly professional pain management to look elsewhere.

When I started going to Pain Management, I was seeing Dr Kia, absolutely adored him, he was kind patient and cared. He the got moved down south. Now I see Dr Othman. He’s a great Dr with a great bedside manner. He is fair and listens to my needs and complaints. I am glad he is my Dr. and the Staff have pretty much always have been kind and willing to work with me.

I have nothing but wonderful words regarding the staff at both facilities. Also Dr. Othman is and always has been a caring doctor. I've seen other doctors and I feel blessed to have found someone so caring and understanding. Thank you so much Dr. Othman and staff for everything🕊🙏

I had/have no problem with Dr Kuang. However the staff took over refilling my pain meds for the VA. Only one prescription has been refilled without incident. Right now I am dealing with what Nurse Erica has done. She refilled a 30 day supply, but refused to make my next appointment within those thirty days. I am out now. She scheduled my next appointment for two weeks after my thirty day supply ends, would not schedule it sooner. The people who answer the phone seem pleasant, but the staff does not do their job. Their job is to make appointments in a timely manner and provide pain management.

Find some other place to go if you are a HARD WORK person trying To take care of your family, DO NOT trust these people with your livelihood, they don't care. The staff frequently make mistakes. They don't return phone calls In a timely manner. They don't not have good communication internally. It is truly a shame this is the quality of Healthcare we receive in California.

I am treated like a criminal at this place. The staff has no compassion for the patients in pain. They don't seem to communicate with the doctors and jus don't care about those they are supposed to serve. Doctor prescribed pain meds. The staff knows the meds are out of stock in the pharmacy and do not give this information to the doctor. When I call the dr office I am told to call pharmacy to see if a lower dose is available. I called back and treated like a problem patient when all I want is to get bye with less pain. THEY DO NOT CARE HOW MUCH A PATIENT IS SUFFERING. DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS WHILE I AM SUFFERING IN PAIN. SOVIET UNION TREATED GERMAN PRISONERS OF WAR BETTER THAN I AM TREATED

Incompetent stuff. Not respect for patient. Is like the doctor Untal don't care the pain of my poor husband suffering. After two weeks calling, asking for better medicine no one calling back...except they called for payments. Is a shame this happened in 1st world country.. Don't use this doctor amd his team because they are too busy for you.

Been going for many years. They are life savers. Dr Levitan is a miracle worker, the staff is helpful and courteous. Sometimes it’s a wait to get in, but telemedicine post Covid still works for me. Thank you Pain Management
