Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center

My sister is VERY dehydrated and cannot drink by herself. She is dying and it seems like no one cares enough to hold a glass of water for her, she had a stroke a week ago and now has covid i was told. What is going on? I live in another state and cannot travel easily. Please help her. Plus no one from Pahrump Health & Rehabilitation even call to tell me her phone had been washed with her sheets.

Mother had Covid not once but twice. Every day we visited and either a Nurse. Dr. Or Therapist was in. They had to teach her how to walk. Talk dress herself. and EAT. This is not a easy task at 93. Never saw anyone lose their cool. As professional as you could be under the most trying circumstance. We can not say THANK YOU EVERYONE enough. From the Nurses to Ed in P.T. to Cindy in Occupational Therapy. And all the Staff. You hear a lot of horror stories out there. But what about a great rehab center.. It may not be the best Rehab Center, but let me tell you. I would give it all up to have the same people take care of my mother again. It wa a long 6 weeks but they gave the care a loved one deserves . So many Staff we met. So many people to thank and we just do not remember all the names. Thank You EVERYONE. THANK YOU.

There are some very nice and capable workers there. However, they do not have enough help. The staff even will tell you they cannot do their jobs because they do not have enough staff. I do not understand why you would take another patient if you do not have enough staff to take care of them. And they are always trying to get away with using cheap medical supplies. Also, the meals are always cold. They told me they had all kinds of therapy, that they rarely did (no one to do it). They told me they had a. Ice sitting area in the courtyard, but it is only for smokers. They say a lot and follow through with little. If you care about your loved one, take them someplace else.

I stayed at Pahrump Health & Rehab approximately 4 weeks last fall and was pleased with what I experienced while there. In particular: the Staff was pleasant with us as patients and worked well together; The facility was super clean and was kept that way daily; lastly, I have dietary restrictions and the kitchen made every effort to accomodate them in my diet. This place isn't so bad I was told my cousin is dying there, it seemed nobody would care for him .. But they do try their best the staff is very friendly.. He looks so emaciated He barely drinks any liquids and eats his food and if he does eat a couple of bites that will be it untild his next meal.. He needs rehab from his stroke where it the state agency when they're needed who looking for the ones who can't help themselves. Medicade doesn't cover these expenses. Very sad seeing slowly him slow passing away right before your eyes....

My mom was attacked/hurt by someone while in this place. She was sent to desert view by ground ambulance, transferred to Vegas by air ambulance. Upon her arrival at spring valley hospital, she was "bleeding from open wounds on both her arms and in a highly panicked state" The nurse in charge of her care at spring valley told me when we finally had found mom. Yes, no one called us. Not PRC, not DVH. Three days later we managed to track down mother. It's a harrowing story isn't it. This is the kicker for me. When that commercial plays, you know the one, suit material may offend you..It's for that at home or out about safety button. My mother's "button" was taken from her when she was attacked. Not literally. I meant me, me being her safety button.

Thier some nice people and it a nice building but some people are just rude. My friend cane from the hoapital and she needed help getting up but four nurses just ignored her they need better care and thrm and the hospital transported her back and forth to the hospital like 4 times and they just dont care and this is thier only location which is far for some people
