My treatment at Pacer Clinic by Austin Kramer was well beyond my expectations. I had had a knee laparoscopic procedure and was anxious to get me knee "back to normal" so I could resume my tennis and pickle ball activities. He was professional in every way. The exercises he taught me have improved my movements as well as resulted in an at home regime that I intend to continue. Thank you to the entire staff. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Austin, Lorenzo and Kat! 😊 I came to Pacer Physical Therapy after rupturing my left Achilles tendon. I’m a Jiu-Jitsu / Muay Thai athlete and I truly thought my career was done. I was extremely upset and down in the dumps upon arriving at Pacer PT. Austin and his team quickly changed my attitude with their positivity, patience, and expertise. I could tell Austin and the team truly cared about my injury and my goals to return to sport. I had surgery on June 8th for my ruptured Achilles and began working with Austin in early July. Austin and his team’s progressive overload workouts had me getting gradually stronger which was very exciting to see. Austin gave me access to a user-friendly app that allowed me to access the workouts and train at home. By September, I was strong enough to hit pads and start boxing again. By November, Austin cleared me to begin a running program. At this point, I felt like I was close to 80%. The mental barrier of rupturing my Achilles had gone at this point. I think a large part of that was due to completing Austin’s workouts which gave me total confidence in my strength and ability. By January (8 months post-surgery), I was kicking the pads and returning to sparring. At this point, I felt about 90% and had very little limitation while training. I saw Austin and team each week for approximately 24 appointments. The front desk was very helpful in helping me schedule/cancel appointments throughout the 8 months I was there. My sincerest gratitude for everyone’s time and knowledge. It was truly a pleasure to work with you all! Best, Jesse

I received excellent physical therapy at Pacer. After a thorough assessment, Austin not only walked me through and demonstrated each exercise; he also explained how each exercise would help me reach my goals. The entire staff is very supportive and encouraging. They have a terrific welcoming culture that inspires outstanding results! I actually reached me goals two session earlier than planned. I am so happy to have full function of my foot and leg back. Thank you Austin, Masood, and Team Pacer!

Fantastic place for physical therapy! Austin was extremely knowledgeable and got me back to high-impact skiing. I have torn my ACL, meniscus, and had cervical surgery in the past. I have been to five different physical therapists in the bay area and highly recommend Pacer Physical Therapy. Individualized sessions with great adjustments along the way. I am a physician at a local hospital and will be happily sending my referrals to Pacer moving forward.

I cannot say enough great things about Pacer. Not only did they help me tremendously with my issue, but they also found out that I had a completely different problem than my doctor’s diagnosis. My doctor thought I had Bursitis but after months of pain, I realized it had to be something more. I finally went to Pacer and within minutes they discovered that I did not have Bursitis, but problems related to my IT band and meniscus. I am so grateful for their expertise. They helped me greatly and my issue improved with every single session. The staff at Pacer is incredible! They are not only very knowledgeable and experienced but are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Having consistent pain can be exhausting and discouraging and being able to have the kind and comprehensive care that I had at Pacer was very encouraging. (Ok, I could like a commercial now, but it’s true! 😊) Thank you so much Pacer Physical Therapy!

My experience at the Pacer Clinic was overwhelmingly positive. I was scheduled for a steroid injection to alleviate pain radiating from my hip but after a few weeks of therapy, I cancelled it. I’m feeling better and stronger every day. Thank you to Danny and his team.

I was referred by my doctor to get knee treatment. Diagnosed with hoffas syndrome. I had high hopes based on my doctors recommendation and reviews and it started it out well. I went to about 6 or so visits. Primarily saw Austin who was very professional and considerate. My insurance changed to covered california and was told at the front desk that they did not accept Covered California - none whatsoever. Basically anyone who doesn’t work for an employer and is self employed in california is unable to go to pacer. I was utterly saddened and mildly infuriated because this treatment was the only thing that was helping me get better and I pay over $600 for premiums a month for a PPO and it still didn’t matter. Im left to assume this policy is based on greed or lazyiness by pacer corporate. The healthcare system in this country has a lot of problems and this is a perfect example of one. UPDATE: Pacer called me to try and clear up the confusion by re-confirming that they are not in network for all Covered California plans and they actually could take my insurance but it will still be out of network at $90 per visit. At this price I can't afford to continue my therapy there. This could have been handled more professionally at the front desk by actually just taking my insurance card and double checking instead of flat out denying my insurance. Updating to 3 stars because Austin and his team did a great job and this policy is not up to them. Still seems rather odd that a company based out of California doesn't make accept paid California health care plans.

Full knee replacement, 79 years old, and so happy I can't even begin to tell you! My therapist Austin directed a marvelous 3 month return to complete normalcy. His ability to communicate instructions in a compassionate manner, to read the extents of my personal limits, and ultimately send me on to a life with a new knee are to be commended. He pushed when necessary but in way that made me want to raise my game. not discourage and very much inspired me to try harder. The facility is squeaky clean and being constantly wiped down for germs, etc.. They all remembered my name from day one, were comfortable with seniors, had a great sense of humor, and were always punctual. I cannot speak too highly of this fine establishment.
