Struggling with addiction for years, jails and instutions became a way of life. I had relapsed in 2017 after a 6 year clean time. Cdu in Camden was the best instutions I have been associated with. It's because of their thorough indepth program, and support that made me aware of both physical and mental and behavioral issues that has been my incentive and push to continue learning to love myself.and take care of the entire body. .. This hospital took my sister in at a time of crisis. I am so very thankful for a nurse named Loretta who helped ease my pain of leaving my sister. I know it's for the best. Thank you to all the staff. I'm sorry I cant remember names well. I asked Loretta what hers was and she wrote it on the handbook for me! Thank you to everyone's help in Camden and Malvern Ar. For thier help. She will be transferring to a long term treatment place we are hoping. She finally admitted what was wrong, and We put it in GOD'S hands. Drove to the local ER and they transferred her to Malvern first. Then we transferred her on over to Camden. I will be forever grateful for all the help from all the hospitals involved. Thank You, Tam Shell UPDATE: I wanted to thank everyone involved in the treatment of my Sister the whole time she was there. She is clean and sober for almost a year now. She is doing fine for now. They weren't always easy on me, or the most gentle, but because of the folks at this place I have almost 6 years free of substances and am on my way to becoming a counselor in the same field, as well as a licensed mental health provider.

I have nothing BUT GOOD THINGS to say about Ouachita C.D.U.. My hat is off to the facility and all of the staff. They saved my life. The things I learned there are priceless. Keep up the good work because yall made a difference in this Addict/Alcoholics life. I have 6yrs and 1month clean and sober today. Once again THANK YOU for saving my life

I came to these people in a time of crisis and was turned down on the basis I suffer from anxiety and manic depression. Said they weren’t equipped to treat me, which tells me they aren’t equipped to treat any addict. Name one addict w/o one of these two problems. My mom was promised a bed for me and I was turned down because I suffer from side effects of addiction. Go figure, huh?
