I had been to several physical therapists and doctors to treat my carpal tunnel syndrome and rotator cuff tendonitis over six months, but Dr. Z was the first PT who gave me the focus and attention to get to the root of my pain and actually teach me how to resolve it, permanently. After a one on one consultation, Dr. Z created a plan mixing dry needling, cupping, chiropractic adjustments, and strength training which was extremely effective. He is incredibly knowledgeable in all of these areas, and you can tell he is a cut above most dry needling practitioners and PT’s. Within six weeks we had found the root of my muscle and nerve pain, healed it, and I learned how to strengthen those muscles to avoid re-injury. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Z more!

I was actually scheduled for surgery on my shoulder when I decided to give PT one last shot. I'd been seen by another with no real improvement. My friend recomended Dr. Z. to me, and I'm most grateful. My work with him elimnated the need for surgery and allowed me to have a full recovery. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very effective. I highly recommend him and his office.

I’ve been to various Physical Therapists over the years but Dr Z is the first and only one where I felt like my issue (which was heel pain) and resolving my issue was a true priority. I was not part of a “quota” he had to reach. I was not splitting time with 4 other patients. I was not just given exercises to do at the office while he saw other clients. He worked on my issue with multiple modalities and explained fully the what’s and the whys. Yes, he gave me exercises to do at home but that did not take up my time in the clinic. I respect his knowledge and skill and would highly recommend him when you need a Physical Therapist!

I started going to Dr. Courtney Smith in the Spring of 2023 after having a second knee replacement on the same knee. I knew I needed someone who was an expert and could provide me with one on one attention and care. Courtney is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the human body and it is evident in the wide variety of treatments she provides. I truly believe I am months ahead in my recovery because of her expertise and experience. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Courtney Smith is the most amazing!!! I have intermittent back and hip problems….. recently, I had the trifecta…. Both hips and my back went out at the same time!!! I could not move, sit or stand without great pain!!! After one session with Dr. Smith, I was able to walk, after 2 sessions, my hips were great, and by the third session, I was back to normal!!! She is a magician, and I HIGHLY recommend her!!!! (And have, many times!!!)

After the first session, the therapist didn't know what was causing my issues but suggested doing some some needling to my back and basic exercises which I've already done before but didn't help me previously. When I told him this, he got annoyed and asked me what I expected from the visit. He seems to care more about his ego than his patients. He sure did like to mention how he gives 2 hour lectures as if that is supposed to impress someone. With having no value taken away from the session, I requested a refund as the website has a money back guarantee for this. He has not responded to my request via text or answered my calls for 4 days now but he was responding very quickly when I inquired about an appointment. Not only was the appointment a waste of time, now I have to dispute the charge with my card company. Edit After Owner Response: Clearly the website states a "Money Back Guarantee", which is an obvious lie as the response they gave says they would not provide a refund for their time. What is the point of a "Money Back Guarantee" if you don't honor it? Not somewhere I'd trust to be honest with anything at that rate.

I have worked with Dr. Z for many years now with different areas of pain and I can honestly say he is able to help you with any area of pain. Dr. Z has been able to help with SI and low back issues, shoulder, neck, TMJ, and plantar fasciitis. His level of care, expertise, unique skill set, and his abundance of knowledge are incomparable to other providers. Those attributes, coupled with his attention to detail and passion for helping each of his clients, results in a best outcome situation. I have been to many different physical therapy offices and you will not get this level of care anywhere else. I love that you have the full attention of the therapist and they are able to answer any questions and explain the treatment session to you without interruption. Finding a healthcare professional who can effectively address various areas of pain and provide personalized attention can be crucial when seeking relief from daily pain. I recently had a major knee injury and OPTC was the first step in my plan of care because I have full trust in their knowledge and skill set. I highly recommend Dr. Z, and Osteopractic Physical Therapy of the Carolinas (OPTC). One treatment with OPTC and you will see the difference in the level of care and treatment.

I have worked with Dr Zacharko for two different primary issues at different times, and in both cases helped me reduce pain and returning to sport/normal life. Noah helped me rehab following an orthopedic surgery (hip scope) in 2020, and recently recover from a quad strain leading up to a weightlifting competition. In each case Noah was intentional about diagnosing the issue, setting treatment protocol including electro-stim, soft tissue work (joint mobilizing) and other methods, and offering guidance to at-home exercises that helped me make a full recovery and return to competition and get out of pain. I was a collegiate rower and active in health a fitness afterwards, and Noah is simply the best.
