OSF Rehabilitation

I looked forward to my first rehab appointment, however, I found an aggressive person who made me feel bad merely because, as I told her, for right now due to other upcoming appointments, I could only schedule 1 per week! I got the impression that she was going to request 3 or more per week … which is impossible right now! Also I do wish I could reliably cancel, as well as reschedule appointments online!

I’m just learning who is who in PT. Kevin is very nice and very smart. He recently did my eval and my negative feelings are in person and via phone. The female and male who “usually” work the front desk or answer the phones up front are not rude. They simply hate their jobs. It is evident the way they both answer the phones when you call in or you are standing there to witness their behavior. Neither one is pleasant. Neither one has eye contact. And both are very unpleasant to deal with. I hate when I have to approach the front desk for any reason. And the male is playing rap music which uses the N word and it is very disturbing. Neither one of these employee represents the OSF Mission. Ugh!!

I called today asking for the results of some testing that was done and automated system went through a series of questions and said stay on the line for anything else and the scheduler answered and I told him what I was looking for and he said he was the only one in that office and that he didn’t have the other number to a deparment connected to the same building. I asked if he could transfer me and somehow we ended up disconnected and I called right back multiple times and it’s clear he is ignoring my calls. I work in customer service and I wouldn’t handle anyone like that and if I didn’t know something I would ask another colleague even if it was in another department to see hey what’s the correct number or person to transfer this person too because the automated system said stay on the line for other questions and I was not helped.

Went into the building to get a drug screen . When I walked in there were three women sitting separately the one all the way to the far right, assuming that they said in the same spot was finishing up with a patient I stood there for at least 3 minutes no one said hi, I'll be right with you, NOTHING!! The one that was finishing up with the patient bleachingly saw me when I came in and standing there. From what I could take in she wasn't doing anything after she finished up with the man and she was speaking to. After standing there in a complete silence and no help she asked the lady all the way to the far left if she was doing anything and could she help me. The lady who ended up helping me must be used to the ignorance from her coworker because she apologized several times and directed me to the right building which was building b where I needed to go. It seems that many people in Peoria have many different issues and seem to be very miserable with there lives here.

The therapists are genuine, professional and help you meet your goals! I’ve had an amazing experience with occupational and physical therapies and the therapists who have been assigned to me. Truly the BEST!

Had an excellent experience with their driving evaluation for my wife. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Impossible to get anyone on phone and schedule.Their scheduling department doesn't return any calls.

They are the best physical therapists.
