Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Dr Liljeberg

I made an appointment with Dr Liljeberg on March 18. I was referred by a friend. Went to his office with severe neck pain. He was supposed to get me in with a referral with a neurosurgeon because I had a pinched nerve in my neck waited for two weeks to get the appointment so I decided to go to my medical doctor. She got me appointment the same day I was in her offices. I went to see Dr. Bentley in Dothan and had to have emergency surgery because of a severely herniated disc. Finally, after I had surgery, they finally called me because of the referral they sent on April 10th 2024. I will not use them again because when you’re in that much pain, you shouldn’t have to wait for almost a month just to get a referral to a surgeon.

Took great care of me for my knee problems. Yes you’re going to wait for a while to be seen, but if it’s not worth the wait for you to get taken care of the right way you shouldn’t be wasting their or your time. Surgery went great and they were very responsive to all my questions.

Only reason I gave 1 Star is because zero isn't an option. He diagnosed my daughter for trigger finger and kept saying she needed testing for a disease. After the surgery, which didn't even work he discovers she didn't have trigger finger at all. Did a surgery that didn't need to happen on her. What an absolute clown that has no business working on human beings. I would recommend going to a different more competent Dr if you want better results.

Great service to the Military retires and their family, don't agree with the other few 1 star reviews of not being Military friendly, those experiences in their reviews would apply to anyone, civillian or not; yes legit complaints, but more from the administration end and not the doctor. Got my elbow fixed with 4 x shots, and wife just got out of knee surgery with hopefully the same results. Got a personal synopsis via a phone call right from Doc L. that reassured me and informed me well. Would definitely recommend.

Made an appt with Dr lilljeberg based on friends reference. Never saw him. I feel like I got a bait and switched to his PA who was very nice but was not the person I agreed to see or pay. Not cool. Won't be back. Think I got billed for a specialist visit not for a PA but who can tell. At minimum, it was disrespectful and improper as I was never informed ahead of time that i would not be seeing the doctor. I would have driven to my original orthopedic in Auburn (Dr Bob M) who is outstanding, and never pawns you off. I was just trying to do business locally.

Extremely unprofessional. Drove an hour away to have them tell me they can't do my procedure today. Not military friendly at all. Update- Get this, after waiting two months to be seen they call me the day of my scheduled appointment to inform me that the equipment is expired and have to cancel....again. I would think they would check it two months ago but that's just me. Please go anywhere else for your health care.

The patient staff are the rudest people. The people who answer the phone are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever experienced in a drs office. The wait time is awful. The dr is nice, but is in and out of the room so quickly you won’t have much time to ask questions.

Dr. Liljeberg and his staff were amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, and caring! They helped my 7 year old feel at ease and safe while treating her broken arm. Truly exceptional care!
