Terrible reception. Its impossible to reach them. I requested a call back, then got hung up on after being told I was being transferred. After waiting on hold for at least 20min, I requested another call back, and of course, I missed the call because thats how it always goes, then when I tried to call back again, despite the hours saying this place closes at 5pm, I was met with a voicemail that they were closed at 4:15pm. Truly god awful reception. After trying to get in touch with them for almost an hour, I can't, and they close early. Would not recommend, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to deal with the terrible customer service here because I need to go to this center. I'm not sure which center I called, because I was given one phone number from my referral, so I'm just going to leave this review on all 3 locations.

There are 2 types of surgeons. Good ones and then there are Bad ones. It is not often that one comes across GREAT ONES! An OUTSTANDING & GREAT surgeon is none other than Dr. Michael Soojian. A great experience being under the care ( and knife) of Dr. Soonjian. My pinky finger was hanging by a mere piece of skin when Dr. Soojian, within 30 minutes, replaced the pinky finger. Like an athlete or concert pianist Dr. Soojian performance was 5 star standing ovation quality. I'm sure there'll be an encore I just hope it's not ME! 😊

The receptionist at the Westport location was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I had a hard time scheduling this appointment for my son via phone. He was injured playing a sport at school and I couldn’t book anything without getting all the insurance info from the school and since the school was closed for vacation his treatment was delayed. It is hard for me to believe that this type of information is not already available since they treat a lot of high school athletes locally or yet a better system isn’t in place to get the athlete scene quickly. Once I arrived and spoke to the office directly I was very happy with the way my situation was handled. The doctor and his nurse were awesome and my son is getting the necessary treatment for his injury. I just had to get past the person I spoke on the phone with initially.

The most satisfying medical experience I have ever had! I was well educated by them before and after my hip replacement which relieved any anxiety I might have had. The staff was kind and helpful pre-surgery, hospitalization and post-surgery. They are a well-oiled machine and I recommend Dr. Polifroni and his staff and Motion PT to everyone! Thanks to them for giving me my life back!

One of the worst things that can happen to a lifelong athlete is getting sidelined due to an injury. 2018 will memorable due to so many of them! In the spring of 2018, I reconnected with Dr. Frank, my orthopedic surgeon, after 10+ years of being injury free. In March of 2018 had a cycling accident which shattered my clavicle. Dr. Joshua Frank and his staff were awesome, they reset it and added a metal bridge (plate) to allow it to heal. I was back on my bike within 30-days! Unfortunately for me, in October of 2018, I had a much more serious motor vehicle accident on my motorcycle. The results of which I lost three ligaments around my right knee, near to losing my leg. So much was going through my mind after the initial accident, all revolving around the negative impact to the quality of my life. Would I be able to walk? Could I ever return to the activates I enjoyed? After several surgeries excellently performed by Dr. Frank, I am ecstatic to write that I’m back to my two favorite activities; coaching baseball/softball and cycling 60+ miles with my “A” group. Thank you Dr. Frank!

Dr. Paul Protomastro is an excellent surgeon, with my having already experienced a very successful rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder 16 months ago. I had a 100% recovery after the required (and highly beneficial) number of physical therapy sessions. This visit was to evaluate my needs on the other shoulder. I felt he was well prepared for this visit and took a very sensible approach to have further imaging done, which will then be followed by a diagnostic evaluation of those images together with me.

The staff was friendly and professional. I was treated with respect. My questions were answered in a way that I could understand without being condescending. And things that I did not know to ask about were explained, again, in a way that I could easily understand. Going forward, I am very comfortable with this practice.

We have had many good experiences with Coastal Orthopedics. Both of my sons play multiple sports and it is nice to have somewhere to go when we are unsure if an injury is serious or not. Walking in or with an appointment we always get great advise from all of the doctors there.
