Terrible reception. Its impossible to reach them. I requested a call back, then got hung up on after being told I was being transferred. After waiting on hold for at least 20min, I requested another call back, and of course, I missed the call because thats how it always goes, then when I tried to call back again, despite the hours saying this place closes at 5pm, I was met with a voicemail that they were closed at 4:15pm. Truly god awful reception. After trying to get in touch with them for almost an hour, I can't, and they close early. Would not recommend, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to deal with the terrible customer service here because I need to go to this center. I'm not sure which center I called, because I was given one phone number from my referral, so I'm just going to leave this review on all 3 locations.

Came to Coastal for Dr Brady — extreme pleasure, followed by Physical Therapy Associates on East Ave to rehab. Amazing experiences. Dr Brady did a perfect surgery. Then first time at a PT and Physical Therapy Associates makes it comfortable. Knowledgeable guy. And being there so much, it doesn’t feel like a depressing hospital/doctor office vibe, which is nice.

Over the past 3 months I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Josh Frank. We first met through a Virtual Visit, which led to an office visit, several other virtual visits and finally surgery. Throughout this treatment Dr. Frank was extremely thorough, followed through as promised, coordinated my treatment with a specialist and has met with me on follow up visits. I have appreciated his expertise and knowledge, his communications, his direction, his honesty and the caring, positive and friendly attitude that he has displayed. I have also been very pleased with his support staff in the Norwalk and in Westport Offices who also, have been very helpful and concerned and kept everyone safe during the pandemic..

After breaking my ankle, I was taken in next day at Coastal Orthopedics. Definitely an accommodating front desk staff, hence the 2 stars. However, the MD saw me, took xrays and couldn't give me any real answers. He put me in an aircast and told me to get a CT scan later that week. Most likely wouldn't need surgery. I obliged and searched for another MD. The next day I was rushed to surgery to repair my talus bone with 4 screws and a plate. The surgeon who did my surgery warned me if I had waited any longer, the likelihood of developing arthritis in my ankle would be increased greatly. Still to this day am receiving bills in the mail from Coastal Orthopedics for insane prices when they basically just said "good luck". Not very happy but this is my own personal experience and, to their defense, this was a complex ankle break.

My recent experience with Dr. Brady has been outstanding. The need for the spine surgery took me by surprise for sure. He patiently explained everything, answered all my questions both before and after surgery. I never felt rushed in an appt. He is an outstanding surgeon and professional, yet has a personable manner that a patient appreciates. Thank you!

I saw Dr. Joshua Frank in the Norwalk office for an injury that recently occurred. I like how he explained what he was testing for when he did each movement with my arm. It gave me a sense of relief - knowing issues were being ruled out. As he went through each testing movement, I could feel my concern easing up. I also like seeing my digital x-rays with the doctor. Instant visual proof of the condition! I went in terrified, and came out understanding what happened, and what I needed to do for it. That sense of calm is priceless! Staff is very nice, and helpful. The office is larger than it seems outside the building. Great parking. I highly recommend it.

To quote Dr Mark Fletcher,” I wont tell you when to have surgery on your hip, you’ll tell me.” As a healthcare exec I’m overly critical of even the high quality, high volume encounters in elective surgery. Dr Fletcher took the time to understand my physical, mental ( Type As have their own timetables ) and emotional capacity to deal with surgery. He got me on a plan to lose weight, prep for surgery, and pay attention to the PT requirements. I am a very active person with plans to continuing tennis, hard core hiking, and planning strenuous and challenging vacations. So pleased with Dr Fletch and his entire staff as well as Norwalk Hospital Joint Replacement wing and the seminar team that educates you on how to manage through your first few weeks of recover. At 57, I researched clinical outcomes and was pleased to see them with the lowest infection and readmission rates in the TriState. They are highly attentive and treat each patient based on their circumstances. Bravo and I hope people who want high quality attentive medicine and value consider Norwalk and it’s now six sister hospitals. The system will continue to provide access to their high quality providers and staff - if we use them. If we don’t don’t, we miss a chance to support five star local business care that is close and intimate. If you’re thinking knee, joint or shoulder, don’t just opt into other systems on a tennis court opinion. Do your homework and you’ll be pleasantly surprised the secret is not so secret - you’ll get great quality of care and personal attention are Coastal and Norwalk Joint and Knee. Pic below is a one mile walk one week after surgery with my hiking buddy. Not bad.
