I recently had an appointment with Dr. Scott Morris, and I can't express how pleased I was with my visit. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. Dr. Morris took the time to listen to my concerns, making me feel valued and understood. His approach was incredibly kind and compassionate, which really eased my anxiety. He explained everything in detail, ensuring I understood my diagnosis and the next steps. It was refreshing to meet a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being. I left the office feeling reassured and confident in my treatment plan. This was my first visit with Dr Morris after a fall I had out of town. I fell on Saturday 9/14/2024 and I called Orthopedic-Alabama on Monday 9/16/2024. I was immediately given an appointment later that day and was so impressed with that whole process. The first thing that they did was to do X-rays of both ankles and feet and I felt a great level of compassion and sensitivity as they manipulated my feet for the different angles needed for the shots. When Dr Morris came in to see me, he was extremely kind and listened to me intently. He was very gentle with his examination and patiently answered all of my questions. He prescribed PT 3x/week for 6 weeks. I’m also set for a follow up with Dr Morris 1 month after my initial visit. He will evaluate me after the PT to see if surgery is warranted to tighten up the ligaments and tendons. My entire experience from my first phone call to the office through the end of my consultation with the Dr could not have been better. I was treated with respect, kindness and the highest level of competence I could have ever asked for. Therefore, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice and especially Dr Morris ! I have already told many people about my experience including my PT team and friends. The pictures below were taken on day five following my fall. A lot of the swelling has gone down especially on the outer part of my ankle and some of the purple bruising is already beginning to fade.

Dr. Morris and his staff are always very friendly and professional. He has been my ortho surgeon of choice for the last 8 to 10 years and I will continue to use him until the time of his retirement. I wish all doctors were as considerate and concerned about their patients like he is. He has also been a blessing to me and that every time I have had a procedure done by him, he has always had prayer with me. Which always brings peace and comfort.

If you have to have surgery, this is where you want to go. The whole experience from start to finish was easy and as pleasant as surgery can be. I highly recommend Dr. Scott Morris and the St Vincent’s East outpatient team. Efficient kind and caring. The best medicine was the prayer before surgery. Thank you and God bless your team!

Dr. Morris and his staff are wonderful. From his nurse to his X-ray staff, and the ladies at the front they are all wonderful. Dr Morris prayed over me 3 times before he did my surgery and after. Great doctor and surgeon and his staff has alot of knowledge

Dr Morris put us an ease with his kind & warm office environment. From the receptionist & nurses to his visit, all were caring, timely & friendly. He has such an infectious caring spirit that also reflects his personal faith. You are in EXCELLENT HANDS with Dr Morris!

My experience with Dr. Morris was great. He greeted me as if he knew me personally. He was very thorough with his examination and quickly diagnosed my problem. He also did my visit in a timely manner.

Dr. Gullung office was professional and friendly. My surgery was a success I’m finally walking again after almost 3 years of pain. I highly recommend him and Sam and the rest of his team. So thankful I’m finally smiling again.
