I've been seeing Dr. Evan Hoffman for over a year and have had a great experience. I'd previously tried pelvic floor therapy at another office and had a less than stellar experience. It seems the office was not focused on treatment of pelvic floor therapy so I gave up. Thank goodness I found Dr. Hoffman. I've been seeing her for over a year and there is a very noticeable difference in my body. Not only does she know what she is doing as a PT, but she makes me feel comfortable in a very vulnerable position. I'd highly recommend her to anyone searching for a pelvic floor PT.

I had the good fortune of having Dr. Brynn Woods as my physical therapist to help prepare for and recover from my laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. In advance of surgery she guided me through learning how to do kegel and other exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor. After surgery she guided me to gently reintroduce those exercises back into my routine as it was safe to do so. She was especially patient in listening to and addressing my questions and concerns, of which I often went into much detail, which helped me gain the confidence and courage to successfully prepare for and recover from surgery. My recovery progressed as she reassured me it would, and I am happy and relieved to say that I gained full recovery and my life is back to normal. I am sincerely grateful to her for the important role she played during this entire, sometimes difficult process. It would have been more difficult without her help.

My OB referred me to Origin after I was having lots of back pain/growing pains during my pregnancy and I am SO happy she did. I have been working with Dr Megan Kalinich and I highly recommend seeing her. She has given me exercises to do to strengthen myself safely during pregnancy and works with me to ensure I do them with proper mechanics. She is very kind, knowledgeable and takes her time so you understand how and why things are done. Highly recommend

I have been going to Origin NW for a year now post a complicated hysterectomy and saw 4 therapist total but Evan by far is the stand out. She truly has invested in my recovery and all the changes I have been experiencing in this perimenopause stage of life. She has treated my scar with dry needling and manual therapy which released a tremendous amount of years of pelvic tension. Don’t hesitate to prioritize your pelvic health and ask for Evan to get the best experience with life changing outcomes.

I am very pleased with the care I am receiving here. I always have the same physical therapist, so no time is wasted with different people getting familiar with my problem. Each session is in a private room, unlike your typical physical therapy center where privacy is established by moving a curtain around a table in a large room. I appreciate that I am able to get my exercises via email as well, so that I can see them performed. Appointment reminders are sent out days in advance. There's the opportunity to place a credit card on file to pay your co-pays to expedite leaving after your appointment. They also keep a cancelation list with which I have had great success to obtain appointments.

I highly recommend Colleen! I had such bad pubic pain with my first pregnancy, but I started PT early in my second pregnancy and it made a huge difference. Colleen is caring, knowledgeable, and always a delight to see.

This review is really for the front desk/appointment bookers and not the therapist. I showed up to my appointment that I booked nearly TWO WHOLE MONTHS AGO because I wanted to see Krista I've enjoyed working with in the past. I had stopped going bc the substitute therapist I last saw while my regular therapist was out on leave had this condescending energy and decided I wanted to wait until Krista returned. Fast forward, I went through the whole process of getting a referral so that I can make an appointment just to see my regular therapist. I explained my insurance was different at the time of booking from what was on file, asked what cost would be for this appointment which was $150 or somewhere in that range, and I was still ready to wait 2 months and pay out of pocket just so I could see this specific therapist. I check in this morning and waited to be seen, then the young lady with the reddish hair called me back for my insurance card bc the old one was still on file. I explained to her when I provided all these details when I booked the appointment only to find out I can't be seen bc they don't take this type of insurance. I asked if I could pay out of pocket and but she just kept telling me I couldn't be seen bc of some random TX law and tells the person who booked the appointment made it as a follow up and it shouldn't have been booked as such. Which doesn't mean anything to me other than you have incompetent people scheduling appointments. All I want to know is why TF no one picked up the damn phone to call me the day before my appointment that I made almost 2 months ago to verify my insurance info if the appointment didn't seem right?!? Why did I have to drive 45 MINUTES each way from south austin to find out I can't been seen AT ALL with no solution to a problem I wasn't even aware of until I walked through those doors?! Do better, this was a wasted of 90 minutes of my time and gas that could have been avoided with a phone call.

The therapists here are amazing however BEWARE of the billing department. I received multiple unexpected bills. My insurance company and I have tried contacting the billing department since February 2024 and didn’t get a response back from them until May. Even then, they didn’t resolve my issue and the billing member is now out of office for the next several months. I just now received a statement with charges from January 2023. When I attempted to call billing, they no longer have a direct line and instead pass the information along with an expected reply of at least 2 weeks. After being a patient here for so long, the billing headaches and sheer time and persistence required to follow up on the billing issues is not worth the services provided. I recommend looking elsewhere for treatment.
