OPA Physical Therapy–South Anchorage

OPA is the best! I always get an appointment when I want/need and Liz is the best! This is the second time Liz was my physical therapist. She really listens and involves me in my care! I will always use OPA for all my orthopedic needs!

My care team at South Anchorage OPA have been a great compliment to the surgical team at OPA Lake Otis. The temperament, level of care, and guidance makes me proud to part such a team at OPA. My coach and Sherpa guide Ashley Lark is not just divine, she is good medicine!

Excellent staff. Lack of friction in both processing, consultation, in clinical settings, and follow-up. The physical therapist assigned to me is highly literate on the subject matter, clear and precise in instruction and detail, and a program development that showed results clearly.

I’ve used OPA South multiple times over the last few years…after a fall resulted in a broken collar bone, after spine surgery & to relieve pain. I always ask for Matthew C. He says I show up like clockwork every summer! 😁 He’s patient, encouraging, adapts exercises to my abilities & a bad knee joint while pushing me to do my best.

Aurora is incredibly professional. I suffered a serious shoulder injury on the job and from day one to present her care plan has been deliberate, comprehensive and effective. The excercises and activities that she has engaged me in for my shoulder recovery has led to my achievement of nearly 100% range of motion and I have confidence that I will achieve full strength and recovery. She is always respectful and provides effective feedback for all of my questions and concerns. I'm very grateful for her work. Emma has also been very helpful with scheduling my appointments. From surgery to PT the experience has been excellent. Dr Powell was very informative as to the process and explaining the procedure, recovery etc. Ashley is terrific. She makes pt enjoyable and the time passes quickly. She too is very knowledgeable and ably answers any questions I may have.

Matthew was my physical therapist from my last foot surgery, it’s nice to have him again for my current surgery. Very personable, professional and polite. Great to work with and he allows me the opportunity to work on my own pace with plenty of homework. He’s very knowledgeable in his field and I have a lot of confidence in him.

Besides being a wonderful physical therapist, Ashley Clifford is an amazing person. She is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her. She has definitely helped put me on the road to recovery.
